I am originally from Grenoble France and moved to Los Angeles 10 years ago. I am a teacher. I love Los Angeles because of the climate, the ocean and the mountains. I come back to La Mure every year to visit family and spend time in our country house.
This house was built by my great grand father in 1957 and every generation in our family spent memorable times there. As a child, we always spent part of our holidays there. I love the feel of the house and the beautiful mountains around.
The Genevray is a detached house so there are no noisy neighbors. The front of the house has a flowery garden in the summer with a lovely pond with fish. The rest of the property is an orchard filled mostly with apple and pear trees and with some plum and apricot trees. You can sit on the terrace and enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains, my favorite is called the Obiou, I posted a picture of it.
It is also close to a ski resort for the winter and to a major city Grenoble which also has a lot to offer.
