Our family includes two children and a chocolate lab. My husband is a native to Arizona and has grown up hunting and fishing in and around Flagstaff and loves the area’s vegetation and wildlife. I love the charm of Flagstaff after attending NAU for part of college and growing up skiing at Arizona Snowbowl.
We bought this cabin as a retreat for our family in the woods to escape the desert heat and the crowds in Phoenix. We found this area of Flagstaff over 13 years ago and loved it. We were so thrilled this year to be able to find a home in the same area to purchase as our family retreat. The close proximity to skiing/hiking, peacefulness of the large wooded lot and short drive to downtown Flagstaff makes it ideal.

We drove to Flagstaff from Las Vegas and ended up at the house well-after dark. (I refrain from calling it a "cabin" because it was almost as nice as our home in Florida). This was so deep in the woods (for us, being surrounded by trees is "deep in the woods") that the kids were initially scared of being eaten by bears and wolves!
