I was born and raised on the East Coast and spent much of my free time searching for a warmer climate to vacation with my family. My family and I relocated to sunny California after experiencing one of the worst winters in New York. After 15 years of teaching for the Los Angeles Unified School District, I woke up one morning and realized that I needed a change. I have a true passion for yoga and language learning so, I began researching countries that would allow me to practice yoga as well as learn Spanish. Costa Rica was just the place. It is impossible to describe in a few words what this country has to offer and the love that I have for it and its' people. I am now living in the Central Pacific in Playa Jaco, an absolute dream. Many of mornings I wake up to the sound of the ocean and birds and truly believe that I am living a fantasy.
