Blue Hill native and currently a resident of Massachusetts, John B. enjoys travel and the outdoors. He is an architectural illustrator, amateur historian and sculptor. You may be tempted to stay indoors with his library of architecture and garden books but please don't - get out and enjoy Acadia and the Blue Hill Peninsula instead! John's extended family has summered in Blue Hill for five generations, with a sixth rising. They began staying at then newly-remodeled Parker House in 1900, after several seasons renting a relative's cottage on Parker Point. As with many old houses there have been ups and downs in the course of more than a century of continuous ownership, but the curtain has risen on a new Parker House, again enjoying its role as a setting for gracious summer living and family memory-making.
