I am a semi-retired real estate broker. My wife recently retired and we want to go traveling. We rented a house in the keys and decided to give it a try here in Calif. It is amazing how few agents know anything about vacation rentals here in Calif??? It has been difficult preparing the home. It is a high maintenance property. Have a full time gardener and maintenance persons. Its close to everthing southern calif offers, its very pvt, full of plants everywhere, thus the high maintenance. We like it , Most people are impressed, surprised.
