The staff was unresponsive and did not return calls in a timely manner. Also, there were bullet holes in one window, loud beer parties around an abandoned car in the backyard and the sidewalks were loaded with panhandlers.

Overall, I was happy with my stay in the Sea-renity house. It is a block away from the seawall, walking distance from Pleasure Pier, and to many restaurants or bars. The house feels very comfortable and clean. However; during our stay, we had to put all the open food in the microwave and store it there because there were aunts in the kitchen every time we left food out. They were not sugar aunts though. We also had to kill a few roaches while we were there. The neighborhood is not the best in Galveston. There was always locals walking around, and if you know Galveston, you know that most locals look like they live in poverty or near poverty. If you're with a large group of guys and girls, it should be fun staying there. Overall, I do recommend the house.

This property has a great location as far as being close to everything. It is however located right across from the recreation center, that has a ton of foot traffic. Other than the people the wondering by this house was great. We had an excellent vacation and were able to walk to the beach and the pier. We would considered going back in the future.

Lots of ants inside bedroom and surrounding is not really pleasant. If you need a quiet, pleasant place for family, it is not a location. I will pay more next time for better location. HOWEVER, management and the lady were very kind, well responded to my email.
Thank you for your feedback. I wish you would have mentioned to ants before check out, I was not aware of them but once we discovered them we had pest control come out and treat the home. As for the location, I do mention in the description, it is across the street from a park and just minutes from the Pleasure Pier so one can be aware it is a busy location. Thank you for your compliment on our staff- we work hard to assure our guests are pleased. Next time you come, let me know you are wanting a quiet place- we have other properties to choose from that might fit your needs a little better. Thank you again, Billie Archuleta.

Very short walk to beach. The place itself was really great. Clean and comfortable. Tv in every room. We had 7 people and didn't feel crowded at all. Nice upper floor patio. The neighborhood gets a little loud from 5pm to 9pm. Other than that, we thouroughly enjoyed the place. We love Galveston.

We had our whole family in Texas for the holidays. You house was one block from the Sea wall and easy walking distance to many attractions. The city is still recovering from hurricane Ike in 2008. We felt fairly safe in the neighborhood that we were in. We had a great time! It was 70 degrees warmer their than back home.
