Description

Beautifully restored listed thatched cottage pre 1840s. All modern conveniences, central heating, solid fuel stove. 30mins Shannon airport,20 mins Galway city,15 mins to Burren .Cosy and warm.Owners live next door, we have chickens,ducks, horses and dogs and cats. Free range eggs when available. Lovely location convenient for motorway to Dublin about 2 hours away. Overlooks the Burren hills.Plenty to do in the area, fishing,horse riding, hiking, lovely beaches and first class restaurants nearby. Galway City 25mins and Connemara National park about 45 mins away. We have just added a guitar to the cottage for people who cannot bring their instrument on planes. The cottage is perfect for touring the West of Ireland and is also ideal for a winter break. Solid fuel stove and central heating make a night in in front of the tv and fire a perfect end to a days adventures.
