"Not the greatest but not the worst!"

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at this cabin. It sets literally about 15-20 ft from the small creek. Nice deck with a hot tub and screened in dining area, both of which allow a great view of the water. We always has windows open to hear the flowing water, especially at night.
The inside of the cabin is unique in some ways. The stairs that everyone mention was a turn off for us, and we are early 40's and in good shape. They were very steep, and too short and confined for me. And there was a second small bathroom right in the kitchen area. That was a real disappointment. I'm sure all of this was visible in the pics from the ad, but it didn't really hit me until we walked in. Kitchen area itself was to small for us. Its like an apartment kitchen.
The cabin just wasn't laid out efficiently in my opinion. One of the sleeping areas upstairs was a wide open space right next to the bedroom, Not so bad for kids I guess, but not for adults. The master bath was on the opposite end and nice.
The large screened in dining area was the best part for me. TV room was ok as well.
Honestly, my main objective was to sit beside our cabin, catch some trout, cook them on the grill, and not have to drive to find a place to fish. If I could have done that, everything else would have been forgotten, but it didn't happen that way. The water level was so low that the fishing was terrible. I caught one fish the whole trip. I heard other reviews mention how great the fishing was and I was pumped up that I wouldnt have to travel to...
"A Home Away From Home"

My family has stayed with Jackson Mountain Homes several times, and we've always had a great experience. This was certainly no different. The cabin was clean and well-kept, with plenty of amenities to keep mom, dad, and the kids happy. It was also provided easy access to the town and to the Park. We would definitely rent this cabin again.
"Lovely condo in Gatlinburg"

We stayed in this lovely condo for a weekend. It is a clean, comfy vacation rental with reasonable price. We were very happy about everything during the stay. The location is also very close to downtown Gatlinburg.

Wonderful customer service from jackson mountain homes. Hot tub broken when we arrived and they had the part fed exed and fixed the next day.
Cabin was very clean and well stocked. We really appreciated the welcome basket with some essentials included. The basement was a bit cool to spend much time in (even in the summer). We loved hanging out on the decks and enjoying the mountains. There are houses around you but we didn't really hear or see many people so it felt secluded.
The only negative thing was the drive to the Smoky Mountain park entrances was far from the cabin, so we felt like we spent a lot of time in the car, but that may just be the way that Gatlinburg is set up also.
"Beautiful 3 level Cabin"
Left on 06/23/2015 for a stay in June 2015
Beautiful 3 bedroom -3 level Cabin. Entertainment consisted of a pool table and air hocky table. Hot tub was just okay..backed up into a corner. The light was out so we could not use it until it was replaced. We called maintence and it the bulb was replaced quickly and in a timely manner. It should be noted that this is NOT a mountain view Cabin but its called a "wooded view"- and not very secluded. Parking for this cabin is awful..you have to park on the road as there is no designated parking areas for this cabin like most of the others. Cabin is located in the arts and crafts district of Gatlinburg. We had a lot of fun watching the lighting/glow bugs at night from the balcony.Cabin is Close to the Alamo and Peddler steakhouses which are our favorite restaurants when visting Gatlinburg. We were there in June and it was very hot. My son got dehydrated and had to go to ER, so drink a lot of water if you visit in the summer! Also, this Rental has no WIFI
