This cabin rates a 4 of 5 for cleanliness, spaciousness and quiet area. A couple of bugs might tag along when you enter the cabin at night--which is to be expected in a woodsy area. You won't be having any tournaments on the pool table, but it's certainly adequate for playing for fun. The only areas we noticed that could use improvement are rather minor. The clothes dryer squeaks like crazy when in operation, and it struggles to completely dry heavy fabrics, such as denim jeans. Those take 2 cycles. The 32" TV is a bit small for the main room, and it's awkwardly placed very high. A larger skillet and an additional medium sauce pan would be welcome additions. These are minor quibbles, and the cabin is well worth a stay. It's close enough to reach Gatlinburg, and the park, within just a few minutes, but far enough away to avoid the bustle. There's also a supermarket, Food City, not far from the cabin. FYI--the cashier gave us a "guest" membership to take advantage of the store discounts without having to fill out an application.

We booked this for Valentine's day with another couple and it was an amazing but short stay. Very clean and beautiful. Kitchen fully equipped. Check in/out was a breeze. Directions from the owner were very well written and explained. Great place to relax. We loved the hot tub and game room. Will be repeat guests!

This cabin was perfect for our vacation! It was actually way more room than we needed for 2 people and a dog, but we couldn't pass on this cabin, because the price was amazing! Randall Crum responded quickly to all of my emails and made check in/check out a breeze. The cabin is beautiful and has excellent views of the mountains. Every room was spotless and decorated very well. It has a fairly good location; just a little over 15 minutes to either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge! The area is extremely hilly, however. I would be worried about booking this cabin in the Winter. All-in-all, I would not only recommend this cabin, but I would also stay here again.

Our family really had the greatest time at the Bear Skye Cabin. We were down for my brother in laws wedding. There were 3 of us. Instead of staying at a hotel where we would be limited on space and amenities, we decided a cabin rental would be best. We were extremely pleased once we arrived. The cabin is exactly as depicted, with everything in working order. The master bedroom is the entire top floor with a small deck to sit out with mountain views. We could not have asked for more. One of the days we had everyone one up that was a part of the wedding (14 of us)for a meal, and there was plenty of space between the living room, kitchen, games room, and both front and rear decks. Some even took to the walking trail that is at the end of the road.
It is a quite a jaunt up and down hills to get to the cabin, but all are paved. We thought of it as an adventure, and to us well worth it. Randall (the owner) provides detailed directions, that when followed, will get you to the cabin without a problem. I would recommend purchasing your food etc. prior to heading to the cabin, as it is a workout for the vehicle. In the end the views are great, the cabin absolutely great and we had the best time. I should also mention, that Randall is easy to deal with and is very prompt in responding to e-mails. Thank you Randall for allowing us the opportunity to rent your cabin

My family and I stayed in this cabin for a week in June. We had a great time. The pictures really do not do this cabin justice. It is beautiful and has everything you need in it. Randall was helpful and treated us wonderfully. We had a fantastic week and will rent from him again.

We spent 9 nights at Bear Sky cabin, which absolutely exceeded our expectations - great cabin and the overall experience. Absolute best value we have ever had in this area. We have stayed at over 20 cabins in the area, we are very particular and we were 110% pleased with this experience! Everything about it was a 5 Star experience - cabin, furnishings, location, comfort, cleanliness, communications with owner and owners directions, cabin development and pool area - all were great! We would recommend this cabin and the owner to anyone without hesitation! We have paid more than double for cabins this size in the past and were less than half as satisfied.
