We stayed at aaron's lodge last week. The cabin was good but they charged us $200 damage fees for damages that were already existing. Despite mentioning that the damages were existing, they put the charge on us. The service is very poor and I do not recommend since you never know how much damage charges thy can levy on you for something that you don't have to pay.
We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Aaron's Lodge. Unfortunately, the damage that you were charged for was not existing prior to your stay. The same housekeeper has cleaned Aaron's Lodge for 5+ years and is very familiar with any wear and tear on the cabin.
We do not have any notes in your reservation where you called in to report the paneling to the hot tub and the shower door in the upstairs bathroom. The shower would not have been able to be used due to the broken shower door and would have needed to be fixed in order to utilize that room.
After your stay, she sent in photos (which can be mailed, emailed or posted if you'd like) of the damage to the hot tub paneling and the door to the upstairs shower. The actual damage costs were over $1000 as that shower door has to slant with the roof of the house and needs to be special ordered. We decided, as a company, to take on the majority of the repairs costs and only charge you for $200 of the damages.
If you would like to see the photos or have any further questions, please call our office. I would be glad to assist you in understanding the charges.

Memory mansion is hands down the most impressive cabin. Everyone absolutely loved it. Any large group couldn't ask for more. Cornerstone had an incredible view of the mtns which was fabulous and it was also very nice. Aaron's lodge was also very nice and the large rm w/4 bunkbeds for the kids was great. Being the oldest it has a few maintenance issues & needs a little updating. Only complaint for all 3 cabins-2 rolls of T.P./bathroom with our large group (44 from multiple states & even Mexico) spread btwn the 3 cabins simply isn't enough. All in all we would certianly stay with you again and recommend you.
Thank you for the review! I have notified our customer service department of your concerns with updating the cabin. Nonetheless, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay!

The cabin was very nice and a great location. It was very close to downtown but yet secluded so you had a feel of being deep in the mountains. The log beds throughout were awesome. The cabin was well equipped with anything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We would definitely stay here again
Thank you for the review! We are pleased you enjoyed the cabin!

The cabin was really pretty and nice bedrooms. I thought the space in the kitchen was way too small, it was hard to cook in there for so many people. Also the living room didn't fit that many people especially for that many bedrooms, but overall it was a wonderfull stay there and would stay there again with a few less people.
We have notified the owners of your concerns with the living room size and kitchen size. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

It was a "nice" house to have so many peolpe--beds were very comfortable, but the condition of the facilities were pretty worn. The bathrooms needed alot of renovation--peeling paint, broken hardware, etc. The exhaust fans in bathrooms did not work or were extremely dirty...Not impressed. The kitchen was not well-designed--couldn't open cupboards because oven/fridge was in the way..
Overall, it was fine. But for what we paid, I would have liked to seen the facilites in excellent condition and in working order.
