Less than two miles from downtown Gatlinburg TN, this renovated 1940s hunting and fishing cabin is conveniently located and full of historic charm. With two bedrooms and one bathroom, it accommodates up to four guests (and pets!) for a quiet, peaceful getaway.
Originally a hunting and fishing cabin built in the 1940s, Cozy Hideaway lives up to its name. It’s tucked into the beautiful Smoky Mountains with lush wooded surroundings. The cabin is outfitted with comfortable furniture and all the essentials, but it’s also just 1.1 miles from downtown Gatlinburg! You’ll be just a quick drive from dozens of restaurants, attractions, and shops. If you’re traveling with kids, spend the day at Dollywood or visit some of the area’s top attractions: Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, Ober Gatlinburg, and the Space Needle. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge (9.7 miles away) also offer zip line tours, horseback riding, rafting and tubing, several golf courses, celebrity museums, dinner theatres, miniature golf, laser tag, go karts, and arcade games. The nearby Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community features some incredible local work for browsing and buying from North America’s largest group of independent artisans!
At the cabin, get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Cozy Hideaway features two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. The bedding is comfortable (with pillow top mattresses) and fit for a mountain cabin. A lamp next to each bed provides a soft glow and allows you to fall asleep reading a good book.
In the living room, plush leather sofas are comfortable and inviting. Curl up on cool nights and enjoy the warmth of the gas fireplace or watch your favorite shows on the TV. A large coffee table provides enough room for playing card games or board games, and there is a side table with space to keep drinks and snacks at your fingertips. Large windows in the living area let in lots of natural light and allow you to enjoy the beautiful wooded views from the comfort of the couches.
A lovely kitchen features a refrigerator, toaster, and oven with two stove eyes. Stop by the store or the farmers market on the way into town and stock the fridge with your favorite snacks or ingredients to cook a quiet meal in the cabin. A small table in the kitchen is a nice place to have your morning coffee or a romantic dinner.
When you’re ready for some fresh mountain air, head outside onto the spacious covered or open deck. Year round, kick back in one of the deck chairs and take in the scenery. On the uncovered deck, unwind at the end of a long day with a relaxing soak in the hot tub with the beautiful woods surrounding you. The private deck will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
With a convenient location, all the essentials, comfortable interiors, and peaceful surroundings, Cozy Hideaway is just the right size for one to two couples or a small family. We really enjoyed the location and the cabin was just as its title, cozy. The least thing we liked was that the cookware was to small and the lighting in kitchen was to dim and also the blankets needed to be cleaned other than that it was great.
Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay in Cozy Hideaway. We appreciate the suggestions and will look into replacing the cookware, lighting and making sure the blankets are properly washed or replaced. We appreciate your business and look forward to your return.

the cabin was in a nice semi secluded place and close to town. My wife and I would like to visit again soon. The highlight of using the cabin was being able to bring our little Chihuahua Bitsy, we were so glad this was pet-friendly. The only negative thing was the poor lighting in the bathroom and kitchen.
Thank you for the feedback! We will look in to changing the lighting in the bathroom and kitchen. Happy you could bring your furry friend on vacation with you! :)

I rented the cabin with my brothers and my girlfriend for the weekend. It was chosen due to price and that dogs are allowed in the cabin. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. I did encounter a bear in the parking lot, which was exciting and scary. Luckily he payed no attention to me. As for the cabin, it was great, and it was in a perfect location relative to the park, downtown Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. The only complaint is that you can literally hear everything in any room of the cabin. It is small, so noise travel should be expected, but there is no insulation from the sound whatsoever. Regardless, it was a great place and we had a good time.

We knew before check in this was an old hunting cabin that had been redone. "Cozy
Hideway" was perfect with it's rustic charm.
We loved the cabin, the location and the fact that it was pet friendly. We have seen the big lodges of Yellowstone and Glacier and "Cozy Hideway" reminded me of
them. The reservation process was painless
as well as check-in and check-out. I only
spoke with two people, Mandy and Michole, and both were polite and professional. I
will be back in the future. We have rented
cabins in Gatlinburg from different vendors
but "Cabins For You" was better.
The customer did not call to inform us of the mice problem until after their stay. If we would have known about the problem while they were there we could have sent out a cleaning service or arranged another cabin for them to stay in. Our goal is to make everyone's stay enjoyable.

When we arrived we were a few hours early, but they let us go on in for a small fee, that gave us a place to get ready for our Wedding. The fire place warmed the place to perfection. The Jacuzzi was sooo relaxing, It was so cold outside but the Jacuzzi was so warm. The cabins was Excellent. We heard that there were bears but we never seen anything.
