“Best experience ever!!” Best experience by a mile! Villa Sunset Beach on Gili Trawangan definitely had the wow Factor for us. We could not believe our luck when we arrived at the villa (by horse cart "another talking point of our holiday") and found it to be, not only as described but better! We were so happy that we had accidently booked this at the end to our holiday. What a nice way to finish off! The Villa has amazing views and lives up to the name of Villa Sunset Beach with the extremely spacious reception being triple aspect and having an open plan kitchen. The large sliding doors allow the breeze to flow through during the day and the air-conditioned bedrooms make for pleasant evenings. Breakfast with a view or dinner under the stars, we had it all. We had been to Gili before but this is the first time that we had stayed on the North side of the island, so tranquil with turtles on your doorstep. You should try snorkel or dive, it's amazing! The owner was always contactable if we needed anything and also very accommodating and pleasant. She is an experienced diver and can help you arrange dive lessons. Thanks again and we will be back!

Wonderful with exquisite beach views!!

We loved our holiday at Villa Sunset Beach. It is the perfect location! We were more than happy to escape from the commotion of central. It was our own sanctuary of peace and relaxation. After a long day of scuba diving we would come back and thoroughly enjoy the wonderful views and beautiful sunsets. This well-kept property is unique on the island in terms of its size, local flair and provided comfort at an affordable price. It's composed of a spacious main house, two wonderful original joglos -native Javanese perched houses- and a gated swimming pool. All is designed tastefully using organic materials such as natural woods and lava stones. I stayed three weeks in the main joglo- glad to discover the charm of these well-vented houses - the main house has aC- when sleeping in a comfortable bed under mosquito nets. One's privacy is ensured despite the huge, half-sheltered, open-air bathroom with a tropical tree sprucing from its centre to heighten the relaxing proximity with nature. The staff is always present, though discreet, to cook delicious local or continental dishes from a huge palm roofed kitchen/bar space and keep the property impeccable. Located in the silence of a coconut plantation, just five minutes away from white sandy beaches and diving shops, Anak cottage is an ideal place for families, travelers and wellness lovers in search of a clean and peaceful place to rest. I strongly and enthusiastically recommend this delightful place for short or long stays to resource yourself on Gili Trawangan, just 90 minutes away by boat from the black sands of Bali. … see more

Flawless Villa with wonderful staff and management

We stayed in the Villa for 10 nights in December and loved it. Everything was as it the reviews had mentioned and more. Transport from Bali was arranged, we were greeted on the beach and welcomed to our new home by the fantastic staff and the very kind Joanna. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The villa itself was away from the noisy center but close enough to stroll to the beach. Joanna and the staff were extremely helpful and made our stay at the beautiful villa effortless while ensuring our privacy was maintained.
