Thanks to Migun the owner ,my wife , daughter and I enjoyed the privilege of a friendly relaxed 3 night stay at this gorgeous property.
Apart from a spectacular panoramic view of the ancient alhambra by day and floodlit at night, the property is conveniently located to walk to bars restaurants and a simple grocery store nearby.Great attention to detail is evident in this tasteful renovation. Spacious and decorated with great taste it also has all the modern appliances and wifi for a comfortable sojourn. The plunge pool and tranquil garden courtyard also offer welcome relief after a hot day sightseeing. Look forward to returning again.

A lovely house in a wonderful location.
A moorish house in the hillside of albaycin, overlooking the alhambra Palace.
Complete with charming decoration, lovely patio with pool, great terrace overlooking the alhambra, comfortable beds, well kept by its also charming owner Miguel angel who receives you in person.
We spent three wonderful weeks which flew by in no time.
A must for those who enjoy Spain, Granada and its beautiful surrounding villages.

We stayed in Granada at Carmen de los Moriscos for 5 nights and had an incredible stay. Our host Miguel met us when we arrived and shared everything we needed to know about the home. It has an unbelieveable view of the alhambra and situated close to everything. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. Great living area and the deck on top makes for a great place to view the alhambra and Granada. Miguel was a fabulous host. Sharing information about where to eat, about the events going on that week(it was Easter week) and just sharing his experiences. Bedrooms were very comfortable and ours had a nice little deck. If you want to stay in a beautiful place and really have a great feel for Granada and can not recommend more highly Carmen de los Moriscos.

This place was recommended by a friend who had visited 6 months before we did. She wasn't wrong. The service was terrific from the time we rang from the bus station to let the manager know we had arrived to the time we left for the train station in a taxi that he had called for us. The views over the alhambra from the large and small terraces are sensational and provide a perfect setting for evening drinks or dinner. There was plenty of good quality linen, the kitchen was well equipped and there were home comforts like CDs for leisure listening. Many good places to eat are within walking distance and it's an easy bus or taxi ride to the centre of Granada to visit the cathedral, the market and other sights. It's also possible to walk unless it's too hot!

From the moment that Miguel angel met us and got us settled, we were in awe of our good fortune. The home is beautiful, and the opportunity to view the alhambra at all hours of the day and night from different patios was priceless.
Miguel angel is a wonderful and gracious host; the location was spectacular; the home had everything a visitor could want.
The only drawback was the number of stairs one needs to climb/descend to get around the home. For visitors that are in good shape, there wouldn't be an issue; for people who find stairs a problem, this property would be a challenge.
“Fantastic location and views. Really lovely accomodation.”

We spent four days in Carment de los Moriscos. The lead up to the stay went very smoothly and we were met by the owner on the day. He was flexible about us getting in a little earlier than usual and leaving a little later than usual due to our travl arrangements. He also tried (unfortunately unsuccessfully) to assist us in getting our vehicle into the albaicin during restricted hours. The property itself is beautiful and very well equipped and maintained. It was a truely wonderful experience and a slice of the hidden granada.
The views are spectatular and the terrace gets sun for most of the day, which allows for some sunbathing. Be wanred though that the trip up and down from and too Granada city centre will definitely keep you fit and in hot weather get you sweaty! But it is worth it for the location. we will be abck and recommend it to our friends and family.
