Honeymoons and couples getaways find an unforgettable romantic venue at The Pools #12, a one-bedroom, one-bath beachfront condo in Cayman Kai. This exclusive accommodation has its own private swimming pool facing the bright waters of the North Sound, and is within walking distance of two Cayman institutions: Rum Point and Kaibo Yacht Club.
Palm trees shade your private, enclosed swimming pool conservatory and patio dining set. Please let us know in advance if you prefer your personal pool to be warmed for your visit. A $50 surcharge is applied for heating the pool during the summer season (December 15 through April 15); during the winter season, the heat, if requested, is provided at no extra charge. No matter its temperature, the pool is a wonderful place for a private dip after a day on the beach.
At The Pools of Cayman Kai, a small-scale resort that is never crowded, your beach lounging options are many. Walk no further than your backyard and find a gorgeous white sand beach lapped by the calm North Sound, plus lounge chairs for sunbathing. You can hop in to the kayak that is provided for your stay and explore the North Sound waters and mangroves. At the right time of the month you can glide your kayak into the bioluminescent cove and see the waters light up, an experience filled with magic and wonderment you will never forget!
Take a walk to one of the most popular and laidback spots on Grand Cayman—Rum Point. At the Rum Point Club, you can enjoy beachfront cocktails, mingle with locals and visitors, eat fresh seafood, and charter a boat for exploring the dynamic North Sound. Or stay even closer to home and check out Kaibo Yacht Club. For a date night treat, try the fine dining restaurant on the Yacht Club premises, “Upstairs,” serving decadent Caribbean and European cuisine.
Inside The Pools #12, the well-equipped space is open and breezy, with the kitchen, living, and dining areas all flowing into one another. The bedroom is spacious—big enough for a king-sized bed and room to spare. Cable and Wi-Fi keep your entertainment options open for a rare rainy day.

From the friendly reception at the Cayman Villas office to the nicely appointed rooms at the Pools and the fantastic meal at the Kaibo Beach Club these few days were perfection. These rooms open into a screened lanai and small pool.Just outside the door is a sandy beach complete with lounge chairs. Plenty of beach towels are available as well. The dock is amazing for fish watching. Our only regret was we did not have more time.

My hussband and myself had the most relaxing and rejeuvanating staycation at #12. Time literally stood still. The 2 nights we stayed, by the time we went home felt llike a week. The appartment was excellent and the office staff at Cayman Villas were exceptional. We are going back again to #12. I have already told friends about it and they have recently stayed at #12. You have to go...Teresa & Kent Strad
“Great time staying at The Pools in Grand Cayman Island”

My wife and I were so happy with our stay at The Pools #12 in the northern section of the island, near Rum Point. The accommodations were wonderful; the unit was large with a full kitchen, has a private pool in a screened-in patio, and is located right on the beach. It was perfect for lazy mornings and wind-down evenings after a full day of activities. The island is known for its numerous dive/snorkling sites but, in addition, we enjoyed just walking out of the patio to snorkle in the waters right in front of our property. Really nice attributes of the location are the nearby restaurants and water craft rentals at Rum Point and Kaibo Yacht Club, close to a general store, and generally less populated area - although it was great to have a wonderful dinner at the Rum Point restaurant and then return home to hear the music coming from the Kaibo Bar and Grill (which stopped, respectively, at around 11:00pm). The rest of the island is an easy drive away; the capitol of Georgetown is a 35 min drive away which offers everything one might want in terms of shopping and dinning, or a fun drive to completely circumvent the entire island. We thought that The Pools were in the best location and the units were excellent in terms of comfort.

I broke off my engagement prior to the trip and I explained to the Villas what happened and they were very caring and sincere. I took my 5yr. old and it was the best experience that the both of us have ever had. He talks about that trip all the time and thinks that's our home away from home...we will definitely return in the very near future. I have already reccomended The Villas of Distinction to many others knowing that they will enjoy it as much as I did ;-)

We wanted a quiet secluded week away from everything. This is exactly what we found - beautiful water, quiet sunsets, and the condo was equipped with everything we could possibly need, right down to books to read. Perfect!
