We have rented homes before for vacation, but we have never rented a home that was as nice as this one. It was just beautiful - clean, well decorated, and well designed, and it is in a wonderful location on the north side of Grand Cayman, well away from the cruise ships and "pod people". An added bonus was the pristine coral reef just a few yards offshore right behind the house. the shore diving was so good we did not pay for a boat dive for the entire week. My wife always wants to go someplace new, but she said she would return to Grand Cayman and Parrot-ise in a heart beat. I concur.

We loved Parrot-ise. We really liked the peace and quiet on the north end and loved the well-equipped, comfortable house. We cooked meals at the house & grill/BBQ and a had some lunches/dinners at Rum Point and the Yacht club. The pool was nice and we loved being able to sleep while hearing the ocean. We spent a few days lounging and swimming at Rum Point - great for kids and adults. The beach directly in front of the house was a bit disappointing because it had a lot of debris and some garbage. The kids loved feeding kitty kitty. Overall it was a great house and I would highly recommend it!
Thanks so much for your great review. Parrot-ise is one of our most popular private villa choices.
The beaches along the North shore of Grand Cayman do get more of their fair share of debris from the cruise ships (shame on them), however the beaches along Parrot-ise are cleaned on a weekly basis and groomed for each guests arrival.
Thanks for allowing us to assist you with your accommodations on Grand Cayman!

Our family was lucky enough to spend a week in the Cayman Islands at the beautiful Parrot-ise Estate. We loved every minute of time there. We rented the upstairs too so we had lots of room. The screened in poch was a favorite hangout and we really enjoyed taking care of the resident cat, Kitty. We had family portraits taken on the beautiful beach and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen or running up the road to Kaibo. Fabulous!

Had a wonderful time. This home is beautiful inside and out! Booking it was super easy - the owners were so thoughtful and accommodating. Lost power for the last day, couldn't take showers or use bathrooms, but other than that it was perfect!

Parrot-ise was a all the pix showed it to be. I could say many positve things about all the comforts of home. The beds were wonderful! and a great kitchen. We got there late on saturday afternoon to find no water in the house. the mgr came right away to fix it,but could not do much but give us more that a little water pressure and showers were not much more than drips for the first few days until he could buy a new pump.(sunday no stores open to by one and monday a holiday and stores closed) we also had issues with the cable and it took us a few days to get the cable company to clear it up because as with the water pump, the cable company was closed on sun and monday. we wanted to watch the Vikings game on sunday, had to go down to kaibo to see it. Although the weather was warm, the pool was very cold and we really did not use it.previous guests had mentioned this in the book at the house. The ocean was warmer and snorkling out front was very cool, there are many pools to find all kinds of fish. also way too windy to even sit out front last 4 days but calmer at Rum Point. which was a great place to just hang out, snorkel and sun! We ate a Portifino, very good food and the Lighthouse, one place I would suggest that people do not eat is the Driftwood. Since we had no water to cook the first night, we went there and it had been recomended to us. It was over 100 for 5 cheeseburgers and as many beers and they were very bad. Sorry to write this but it is true. We had planned one going to their barbeque on sunday, but decided not to take the chance. bar food at Rum Point or kaibo much better. Overall we loved the Cayman's and will most definatley come back and will rent from cayman vacations if we do. we learned alot about how to vacation there by trial and error. Best time: Red Sail Sports catamerand trip to Stingray City!We had been told the Caymans were expensive and they were. Be prepared to spend alot on everything you do! But the island is beautiful and worth it!
