4BR/3BA Luxury Tarasand is directly soundfront in Cayman Kai (within Rum Point) on the north coast. This two story, extremely private luxury villa is a great family or couples choice and offers a barefoot swimming beach amid palm and Casuarina pine trees that offer guests shade from the Caribbean sun. 4BR Tarasand is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and the chances are that you will not see a soul on your beach the entire stay.
Many oceanfront windows and sliding doors to the sea provide panoramic views of the azure waters off of Cayman Kai. The extremely well equipped kitchen and bar area are joined with the dining and main living area in an open-architecture configuration that is very comfortable on vacation. The house has great Flow and at night one can open windows, allowing a cross-breeze in winter to cool the house when A/C is not necessary.
Sunsets are especially enjoyable from the decks at Tarasand. Facing southwest, the setting sun provides a wonderful warm end to an active day of snorkeling, SCUBA diving or just relaxing in Grand Cayman

For once, the internet didn't disappoint. The house was fully as attractive as shown on the web site. The decor was very attractive, and the floor plan worked very well for our family of eight. I especially liked the high quality of everything from the furniture to the kitchen equipment to bed and bath linens. After several trips to town we were thankful to be on the other side, away from the crowds and traffic. We had very good restaurants near us, and only ventured elsewhere to shop and do the stingray/snorkeling trip. One of the best outings was the bioluminescence kayak excursion, and that was from Rum Point, a short walk away. We also enjoyed the Botanical Garden, which is about half way to town. We would highly recommend the restaurants we tried: Rum Point [twice!], both the bistro and Upstairs in Kaibo, Over the Edge, and the Lighthouse Restaurant. That we expected to be "touristy", but the food and service were excellent. I think we would all highly recommend Tarasand to anyone.

Tara sand is simply a gorgeous property and well outfitted for our group of eight. The kitchen is roomy allowing everybody to take part with family meals and the dinning area is large enough to have a few friends over for dinner. The beach can't be matched. Some kayaks on the property would have been great. Be sure to take snorkeling gear as there is much to see right off shore! It was great to have washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave and a water cooler. Unfortunately, the oven wasn't working. Important to get groceries in town before heading to Cayman Kai as there is not any place really close by. If getting away to a peaceful paradise is what you are looking for, this is the place.
