“Lovely cottage”
Lovely cottage, great location, very sweet! Had the best time, will definitely be back! Very close to village but also very quiet, and perfect for taking animals

“Quaint and cosy cottage perfect for idyllic country getaway”
Vine cottage is a quaint and cosy little cottage with serious ‘The Holiday’ vibes. Service from Emma was great- quick to offer any support and make sure we were finding everything ok. The cottage is well equipped with all you could need for a little break, including toys, high chair and music for kids.

“Perfect Stay”
We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at Vine Cottage. Plenty of places to visit and lots of nice dog walks a short drive away. The cream tea at the Courtyard Caffé was a lovely touch and very nice - the best scones we’ve ever had! Very friendly locals and neighbours which is always a bonus! The two village pubs made us feel very welcome. Great base to explore Garstang, Blackpool, Fleetwood, Lytham St Anne’s etc etc. Thank you for a perfect stay. Already looking forward to returning! X

“Nice setting”
The location of the cottage was perfect. Some lovely walks close by, and central to visit local places. The cottage could have done with more (and comfier) seating in living room, as it does say it for 4 people but only 3 seats and a big foot stool. We wanted to just chill on rainy days but wasn't a option. Was a nice touch arriving to milk, jam and eggs. The cottage could maybe do with a clean around lights etc. but was a nice break for us.

Response from the owner Thank you for your review , as discussed in previous messages the cottage is cosy and has a small lounge but plenty off additional tub chairs to use .As for the cleaning , we clean the cottage ourselves and the lights get hoovered and cleaned around each time , if we missed some dust then we can only apologise . As you mentioned cleaning , for your future reference when staying in other holiday cottages it might be an idea to leave it in a reasonably acceptable condition , in all our 5 years of holiday letting we were all gobsmacked when entering vine cottage , it was absolutely disgusting the way you had left it , it took four off us 4 hours to clean it . I didn't mention it at the time but feel it's appropriate now . We actually contemplated contacting holiday lettings to report it for further bookings at other establishments.
