Located on the hilltop, the property extends down to the rocky shoreline, where the dock and kayaks are. Your cottage has a 2 person sit-on-top kayak for your use. A 10 minute kayak ride takes you across the calm turquoise waters to the deserted island of Moriah Harbour Cay. This beautiful cay has miles of soft sand beaches, lagoons to explore, populated with rays, turtles, ospreys and bone fish.The cottages are in a landscaped natural setting with a large solar heated swimming pool. Located 9 miles east of George Town in the quiet isolated area of Hartswell, making it a perfect setting to relax and unwind. The area of Hartswell is world renown for the bone fishing flats which are directly in front of the property. There are many beautiful beaches on Little Exuma only minutes away by car. Your cottage has 2 bedrooms, a lounge/dining area, a fully fitted kitchen, one bathroom and a screened porch with Ocean views. The cottage is air conditioned and also has fans. Our rate for less that a 7 night stay is $200.00 per night for 2 people in the cottage, Stay 7 nights the rate is

$175.00 per night for 2 people in the cottage. There is an extra charge of $25.00 per night for a 3rd person sharing the cottage.

Rental cars are available at the airport. We are 9 miles East of George Town, and 18 miles from the airport. A rental car is advised. It is best to book a car before arrival. Rental car information is listed on our web page. If you do not want to rent a car, taxis are available.

Interaction with guest

I live in a cottage on the property and I am available if you need assistance, and questions answered. I have two friendly dogs, they have the run of the garden. If you miss your dog, you can play with mine.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Valerie (the owner) a message.

If Valerie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
