Set in an exclusive position in a garden setting on the coast between Great Yarmouth and the Norfolk Broads. Situated between the seaside villages of California and Scratby, just 4 miles from Great Yarmouth, 2 miles from the Broads National park and within a short drive of the fine City of Norwich, a top 10 UK shopping destination.

Our Hickling chalet has large French doors, with stunning panoramic sea views next to our sandy beach. Relax on your patio and enjoy the superb sea views, probably the finest sea views in Norfolk!

Situated at Wakefield Court Beach, probably the UK`s smallest and most exclusive holiday park with just 7 units, an oasis overlooking the gorgeous beaches on the Norfolk coastline in Great Yarmouth and close to the Norfolk Broads National Park. All of our accommodations offer breath taking sea views from the elevated position, on the Norfolk coast overlooking the adjacent golden beach below. Each accommodation has its own alfresco dining area for balmy summer evenings spent outdoors. If you’re looking for a relaxing seaside retreat on the coast of Norfolk and close to Great Yarmouth look no further.

Our Hickling No4 chalet has two bedrooms, with two double beds. Beds made up on arrival. A comfortably furnished lounge/diner with the latest HD ready LCD TV with Free-view, Free Wi Fi available. “Relaxing break away with beautiful sea views”

Realy nice hosts Stuart and Louise, Lovely sea view, very clean and everything we needed. Our cockapoo Miya enjoyed the beach on it every day. Would love to come back in summer.

“Great views”

Never been to Norfolk before. We stayed at beachside for a week, my two boys and my dog. The positioning of the chalet is lovely. The beach is clean and dog friendly and just lovely to walk along, and a few meters walk away down a slope. Scratby is a quiet friendly little village. Whites lounge bar is great and the bakery. You definitely slow down. The approach past some Older chalet complexes isn’t the best but don’t let it put you off. The accommodation was nice, a little disappointing that the flooring was worn and scuffed and had areas missing where the laminate was chipped. Ww took our dog and it was so hot you needed the door open but he had to be kept on a lead of outside so we had to fashion something to keep the dog in the chalet. A gate would have been useful. Wifi was shocking, and only started working 4 days in and then kicked you off constantly. But you’re not there for the wifi lol. Parking for our chalet was a little tight depending on how others parked. All in all a peaceful trip away with gorgeous views and a pleasant little complex.

“Beautiful !!”

We loved our stay ! What a fabulous new year ! What more could we want from Cosy clean accommodation , very comfortable bed and the most wonderful views! Ending the old year and starting a new year with wonderful beach walks ! From start to finish the owners went out of their way to help with any questions or queries ! I made a mistake on booking this was quickly rectified by the owner , it’s a quiet cosy place to stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again !

“First staycation and probably the last”

Chalet quite small,view very nice,owner not sure about ,we booked 7 nights but were told we had to leave a night early due to Corona virus they had to clean and fog the Chalet but no reduction in price?.On inspection we found stains dirt and even tomato sauce on the edge of the table, the beach is great.Unfortunately had to leave even earlier due to close family bereavement. After letting him know his reply was thanks for letting me know (but no condolences)nice.If we ever stay in Scratby again it will be in a caravan across the road.

The chalets are sanitised on a Friday night by fogging, this is the only way to make sure that their is no Covid left behind by previous guests and the vast majority of our guests have appreciated the extra care we have taken over their health. Tariffs were adjusted to take this into account and you were aware of this and the price when you booked. Apologies if the table had not been cleaned to our normal high standards.
