"Dolce far niente"means "doing nothing": it is the preferred activity of most our guests; someones, after relaxing by the pool, to the seaside, many choose cultural historic art tours; all enjoy weather and landscape of Maremma.
The holyday house Isola delle Api is in Fercole, close to Petriolo hot thermal springs, half way between Siena and Grosseto, less than 1 km from the main national road .
In nearby villages Casal di Pari (1,5 km) and Pari (3 km) you find basic services, pizzeria, trattoria; shopping centre is in Paganico (12 km).
Isola delle Api is made of two indipendent apartments: fully equipped (gas stove, fridge, dishwasher, etc.): the mini for two persons, the larger one for six. A family or a group of 8-9 guest may rent both apartments for exclusive use of the house.
In the living room (48 sq.m) there are kitchen corner, dining tables, fire place, ; in upper floor, 3 double bedded rooms and 2 baths. Larger bedroom, with a private bathroom, can accommodate a childbed.
Isola delle Api is eco-friendly: solar panels supply hot water and electricity
Pets are welcome; the garden and the pool (4 X 8 meter) are for exclusive use of guests.

Best Tuscan wines (Brunello, Montecucco, Vernaccia, etc) are produced in the area, as well as olive oil, cheese, meat which you can buy from local producers.
In every village there is a “trattoria†(small restaurant) where meals are prepared as if you were at a Tuscan home (cucina casalinga); in the summertime you often dine at a “sagraâ€, when each village invites you to dine under the stars, tasting local specialties such as “tortelliâ€, mushrooms, snails and plenty of wine as well.
Isola delle Api is an excellent starting point for your “discover Tuscany†holiday. In 1 hour time you drive to the seaside to choose your own beach: from sophisticated and exclusive Punta Ala, to romantic Cala Violina, to Alberese, in the Uccellina Natural Park, to Argentario and its unique sea views.
Bathing in hot (42° Celsius) thermal water in nearby Petriolo is a must.
Art and antiquities lovers have a very wide choice: from Etruscan tombs (Sovana, Vulci, Vetulonia) to Roman ruins in Roselle, to medieval castles and abbeys, to the architecture of such towns as Siena, Pitigliano or Massa Marittima.
The Palio in Piazza del Campo, Siena is a must , on July 2 and August 16 you have a most unique chance to live real Tuscan tradition.TripAdvisor property ID 3881841...Read more

A quiet, traditional house with a garden, a large living room and kitchen at the ground floor and bedrooms on the first floor. A large fireplace at the ground floor heats all the house in winter. Ideal to spend some time with a group of friends in a relaxed surrounding, nearby Petriolo thermal baths.
