Beach Club Gulf-Front Corner Condo w Endless Views
Our gulf-front corner condo has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms and is located on the west end of The Beach Club's Doral Tower. The Doral Tower has nothing beside it to the west but open beach, so our condo is one of the few to have truly unobstructed views for miles down the beach. Relax on the balcony and enjoy the sunset any time of the year!
The condo is located on the second floor, only one flight of stairs away from the pool, hot tub, and the beach, so there is no need to wait on the elevators. It is spacious, children friendly, and has been beautifully decorated. There are flat screen HDTVs with DVD players in every room (blue-ray player in living room) and there is an IPhone/IPod docking stereo. High speed internet with WiFi and long distance (lower 48 states) are complimentary.
The master bedroom shares a gulf-front balcony with the living room and has a king bed. The master bathroom has his/her sinks with granite countertops, vanity area, and separate toilet, tub/shower. The second bedroom suite has a queen bed, its own full bathroom granite countertops and a tub/shower, and a private balcony with gulf views. The third bedroom has twin beds and an adjacent third full bathroom with a shower and large granite-topped vanity. ** Please note that after April 1, 2015, all bedroom bedspreads are being replaced with white duvets per The Beach Club's clean bedding policy. **
The living room has seating that can accommodate eight, a queen sleeper-sofa and views both out to and down the beach. The large kitchen has beautiful granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, is fully stocked, and has its own window looking down the beach. There is also a washer and dryer in our condo. Fresh linens and towels are included, and the condo also comes with a trial supply of soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, paper towels, dish towels and sponge, dish and dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, and instant coffee. No smoking or pets are allowed.
Doral Tower has its own beautiful, private beach-front pool and hot tub. In addition, our guests have unlimited access to all of the facilities of the private beach-front Clubhouse and Racquet Club. These include a large year-round heated indoor pool with elegant locker rooms, a large outdoor pool and hot tub, a kiddie pool, a pool-side grill and tiki-bar (seasonal), a well-equipped exercise center, saunas, steam rooms, a game room, and 8 championship clay tennis courts. During the Summer enjoy frozen drinks at the Clubhouse pool or beach-side kayak, jet ski, or para-sailing rentals.
The Clubhouse also provides daily children's activities to our guests free of charge, such as crafts (tie-die tea shirts, shark's teeth necklaces etc.), games, frozen treats, in-pool movies (seasonal), and other special events (pool-side live music, s'mores on the beach, etc.). To see the specific types of activities being offered please look at the Activities Calendar on The Beach Club's website. Our guests also receive 10% off of purchases made at The Beach Club, have access to resort charging privileges, and receive a discount off of beach chair rentals.
The Beach Club is a destination resort with its own 1/4 mile of sugar white beach on the Fort Morgan peninsula in beautiful Gulf Shores. The resort has 3 on-site restaurants, an old-fashioned ice cream parlor, a gift shop, a professional spa, 5 beachfront outdoor swimming pools, 5 year-round hot tubs, kiddie pools, a year-round heated indoor pool, an exercise center, a game room, basketball, volleyball and shuffle board courts, a children's play ground, and a tennis club with an on-site tennis pro. There is a beachfront promenade that connects all of the pools, green areas, and outdoor activities complete with gazebos, benches, and swings for easy viewing of the beautiful gulf coast and sunsets.
The Beach Club is only minutes away from wonderful golf, marinas, nature parks, restaurants, shopping, and many other attractions. One half mile west is the award-winning Kiva Dunes Golf Course (18 holes), and a few miles east is the Peninsula Golf Club (27 holes). A few miles further west is the Gulf Shores Marina, next to historic Fort Morgan (a real civil war fort) and the ferry which runs to the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. Watch the boats come and go while eating fresh seafood or sign up for some charter fishing at the marina.
There are several good restaurants near our condo. At The Beach Club there is Coast, the new upscale gulf-front restaurant specializing in seafood; the more casual Village Hideaway (great steaks, pizza, and sandwiches); and the pool-side grill and tiki bar at the Clubhouse (seasonal). Next door is Behind the Pines (gumbo, po-boys, shrimp, and burgers) and the restaurant at Kiva Dunes (great for breakfast or lunch). A bit further down the road is the Sassy Bass, a seafood place, and down by Fort Morgan there is Tacky Jack's (great views of Mobile Bay). Or simply stay in our condo and have the Village Hideaway deliver lunch or dinner to you.
Three miles east of The Beach Club lies the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, which has over 5 miles of natural beaches, both fresh water and salt water fishing, and four wonderful hiking trails (from 1 to 4 miles) that meander around lakes, lagoons and wetlands. The amusement/water parks and zoo of Gulf Shores are only a few more minutes away as are more restaurants, shopping, and the Tanger Outlet Mall.
If you feel like adventuring beyond The Beach Club here are several different excursions we have enjoyed:

This condo was our home away from home for two winters. It is beautifully furnished and the kitchen well equipped. We had lots of guests during our stay and there was always plenty of room. The corner views are big and beachy and the Beach Club service is excellent.

I had an extended weekend girls' trip with my nieces and mother in law. We stayed at this condo at the Beach Club and were instantly impressed with the decor and location of the room. It is located on the end of the building, so when the curtains are opened, all you see is the beach, the pool, and the beautiful scenery. It really felt like we were the only ones there! The condo was so well equipped and decorated so bright and cute! We will definitely be back to this condo.

We have stayed several times at this beautiful condo. It suits our family of eight very well. With the laundry facilities, the well furnished kitchen and the comfortable living spaces, we can function with the utmost convenience. We love the fact that this is an end unit so the view from the outside balcony is breathtaking. From the condo to the pool area to the surrounding grounds, all are so well maintained. This is definitely a relaxing place to spend family time. We like the location in that it is away from the traffic of Gulf Shores but close enough that we can go into town to grocery shop or eat at some of our favorite places. Everyone needs to eat at Lambert's, and Lulu's is great, too. For the kids there are endless things to do. The beach and sand are always fun. Relaxing by the pool and cooling off with a swim is always welcome. With the breeze almost always blowing, kite flying in the big field is such fun. In town there is a great little amusement park for everyone's enjoyment. Not far from the Beach Club is a ferry that goes to Dauphin Island. We will be returning for another fulfilled vacation very soon!
