This home is located on an oceanfront property just minutes from historic Haleiwa Town and a half mile from spectacular Waimea Falls Park. The property rests on a stretch of coast line which is known as the surfing capital of the world! From the beach, a selection of prime surfing spots are in front of or just a short walk down the beach from the home such as the famous Chun's Reef, Jocko's, and Leftovers! Tropical marine life, such as sea turtles, whales and dolphins, play just at shore's edge. As an extra bonus, there is no beach access from the road to this stretch of sand, which essentially grants guests a private, secluded beach experience.
Beautifully landscaped, there are two houses situated on this large oceanfront property. The house closest to the ocean is occupied by a long term tenant. The rental house is approximately 100 feet from the beach and comfortably distanced from the main house to provide ample privacy, but does not have an ocean view. There is easy beach access, as well as an outside showering facility, available to the cottage guests. This home has been recently renovated, and it has two comfortable bedrooms with queen-size beds, a large kitchen and living room area. In addition, there is a outside seating area, and one covered parking space assigned to the cottage. There is ample street parking for any additional cars.
PLEASE NOTE: This property is strictly a non-smoking property. We do not suggest this for anyone who smokes, not even those who are willing to walk to the beach to smoke. There is a fine for violation of the non-smoking rule.
Please note extra beds for additional guests are futon mattresses. One parking space available.

The property is behind some huge electric gates off a busy road, but the only road.
It really is just like the photos so we got exactly what we paid for.
Everything you need is there and although the owner is in the front house ,this doesn't matter and he is hardly there.
He is a very nice chap though,a great bloke.
The beach is fantastic and at this time of year huge, however there is a life guard hut 400m away and a small area safe for swimming which was really neat. Surfing wise it was amazing just huge.Beautiful sandy beach
We went turtle hunting at night and found a friend on the beach who we named Norman on two occasions They pop their heads out of the water all the time and are entertaining to watch.
My kids are 14,11,13 and loved it here.It was a good base for adventure ,like the dole plantation,Halieva ,Waimea falls and the pipeline etc.
I was gutted on having to go back to Waikeke for the last week.
You do need a car to get around.
Although the linen was a bit musty and the wife thought it was not quite up to scratch ,she came round and admitted later on that it was pretty cool location and we left with great memories and cool photos.
Personally I loved the home, the area, the feeling and It brings a smile to my face reflecting back on it.

My family checked in the Wednesday before the week long cruise through the islands. We wished we had spent a week at the rental. The house is modest but private and served the 5 of us perfectly. A short walk to the front of the property and you are on a gorgeous uncrowned beach. We missed the big waves but instead swam with the turtles and watched them eating off the rocks as we sipped our morning coffee or cocktails in the evening. We had wonderful sunsets and rainbows almost everyday.
The front house is occupied by the owner and were wonderful people. The house has chairs and snorkel and masks to use so it was very convenient. Great food in the area and shops to visit. We will be back...but until then... Much aloha!

The beach house located in North Shore, was very nice and clean. It was right on the beach. It also had all the amenities available, such as boogie boards, beach umbrellas, sand matts, and so on.
The note book in the house, with all the details was so handy, as it helped us to find local stores and places to eat.
It was very nice to have a locked gate to enter and leave each day.

We stayed here after a week down the road at a house that is on the beach and is my favorite location by far so my review is a little one sided so Im trying to be impartial. The house and kitchen are in good shape, updated and all seemed clean, there were some 'boomers' but that is to be expected in a house that is surrounded by trees and shade for all of the day. The beach here was amazing and much better than our first location. The house would work better for my family if it had more of a yard and a little brighter. I personally did not enjoy having to walk past some one else's kitchen window to get to the beach. Overall it was a good little place to extend our north shore visit at the last minute.

We so enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect and our family had the peace & quiet we needed. The only thing we found uncomfortable was the 2nd bedroom needed air conditioning; the portable fan provided did nothing to alleviate the heat when sleeping. This home has 2 bedrooms that will sleep four, otherwise you must use fold-out cushions on the floor in the living room.

Great accommodations...peaceful, great beach access..the owner was on site most of the time we were there and in our brief encounters with him he was very helpful and amiable...nice big yard for the kids to hunt for geckos when they weren't at the beach..short distance to downtown haleiwa and restaurants and shops. Kitchen had all the necessary tools to cook, towels and bedding available...would definitely stay here again.

Our seven night on the North Shore were just awesome and we will definitely return here. The rental house is in pristine condition: it looks like staged for a sale. (My wife loved the fancy clothes washer so much that I upgraded my old appliance with this exact LG SteamMaster model two weeks after I returned home).
Exotic plants with beutiful smells and fruits, an outside table where you can dine, and just steps away the ocean and a nice sandy beach.
Because we have such a diverse family (son 8yo wants big waves, but also snorkel, daughter 14yo smaller, and I want to mostly swim) what we likes a lot, was the large choice of beaches within 5 miles driving distance from the house. So we would have two "beach sessions" a day, morning and afternoon, trying to limit our son's "stay in the water" time to 3 hours at a time. We would decide if to go to "The Shark Cove" for snorkeling, or to the Bay (larger crows) or Sunset Beach for the larger waves, or stay around "our beach" and look for sea turtles on the shore. These are the top listed beaches in the Oahu guide and rightly so.
On the way to Sunset Beach, there is a "Foodland" supermarket, not expensive, so we didn't need to go to Costco to have everything we need for our meals.
In short: a perfect rental place in a perfect location.

Joe and I had a wonderful time at Jocko's, the house was bright, spacious and clean and the location was fantastic for surfing, lying on the beach, going for walks or driving down the road to the shops and restaurants. Fantastic house, location and holiday! With thanks from Lucy and Joe.

Loved the location of the property - very easy access to the beach and location was close to old town, Shark's Cove and Waimea Bay and Falls. Enjoyed sunrise and sunset from beach. House was very clean and comfortable. Would absolutely rent again and recommend to others.
