ALOHA! If you are looking for paradise look no more. Beachfront backyard bungalows are located on Sunset Beach in the heart of the world famous North Shore on a private sand beach that stretches miles in both directions. One of the most desirable beaches in the world, as seen on Travel Channel’s top 10 Beaches numerous times. Home is perfect for those looking for a relaxing, exciting, perfect vacation. Tucked back in a quiet neighborhood off the bike path. Whether you are looking to catch a wave, hang in the hammock with a book, snorkel/scuba dive the gorgeous reefs, grill out your fresh catch, bask in the sun, North Shore has whatever a perfect vacation entails to you! World class surf break “Backyards” directly in the back yard of house with “Sunset” “Rocky Point” and “Pipeline” in view from the property and steps away! The beach in front of the house is absolutely breathtaking and hardly used as there is no public access to it close to the home! The water is crystal clear and the snorkeling is great.
The North Shore is the quite part of Oahu but is only minutes from great food, shopping and fantastic sites. The house is less than ten minutes from the historic town of Haleiwa, which is the main town on the North Shore of Oahu. It has lots of restaurants, shopping, a marina (in case you would like to go deep sea fishing), and live entertainment nightly in some of the restaurants. The Turtle Bay Resort is about five miles away from the house in the other direction, and they feature two championship golf courses, horseback riding, lots of amazing restaurants, and several bars. Ted’s Bakery is walking distance from the homes with some of the best food on this side of the island. There are always exciting surf competitions to watch during the winter months such as the Triple Crown(Pipeline Masters which is the super bowl of surfing) and the much anticipated Eddie Aikau Invitational.
There is a great Supermarket “Food Land” about a half mile from the house, which also has a Starbucks coffee shop. All the Island activities, from scuba diving, to jet-skis are all just minutes away from this tropical retreat. Scuba diving is also a major attraction on the North Shore with both boat and shore dives available. Waimea Falls is only a mile away, and hiking at Waimea Valley and visiting the falls is an unforgettable experience. The property is 1 of only "9" properties on the entire North Shore that gets an unobstructed views of the sunset directly over the water 365 days of the year!(very very special!!)
This is a shared property with another home on site. The house is 2 bedrooms-one with 2 twin beds and other with one queen size bed, one full bath and one half bath, fully equipped kitchen, one pull out couch. Living room has a new 51" TV with DVD player for movie nights!

This place is appropriately described with regards to amenities, etc. It's cozy, comfortable and has everything you want, need or didn't have room for in your luggage. But what can't be described is the feel - it just feels spot-on - it feels Hawaii, and it most definitley feels North Shore. We went in early June, the surf was small by North Shore standards, but perfect for mortals. This time of year was great for us because, without the big surf hype, we had the area to ourselves (especially during the week) to enjoy with with locals. We surfed, we snorkled, we hiked, we hung out .. and so many hanging-out options - inside on the couch, under the fans; on the roof-top as the sun rises, in the lanai, on the lawn chairs, on the hammock, on the beach - or (as i did), ride out a passing rain shower in that grass hut lean-to thingy (that probably has a name) on the beach.
One other note - The owners were not there during our stay, but the in-area manager was super-responsive, friendly and helpful!

Couldn't ask for more! House was neat and clean when we arrived with no problems. Has private parking so no need to worry about where to park. Best view on the north shore. Awesome gazebo to eat lunch or dinner or just hang out. Steps to the beach. Awesome surfing and snorkeling right out the back door. Will be back in the future!

I recently stayed for a week at the bungalow with my fiancé and had an unbelievable time. The property is amazing; the location is second to none it is ocean-front with the most amazing views and sunsets. The private beach stretches for miles in both directions and offers some of the best surf spots in the entire world. We ate breakfast and dinner daily on the ocean-front lanai and relaxed in the hammock for hours. You can avoid the crowds of Waikiki and rent an entire ocean-front home for less than a small hotel room in Honolulu. You are in biking distance to all the sights and shopping of the North Shore and a short ride to anywhere on Oahu. We can't wait to come back and stay here again only next time we will be staying longer we both felt like the week went by in a blink of an eye.

The owners (Tyler & Melissa) are great hosts. The beach house was so neat. The "laid back" atmosphere of the property and of the North Shore was just what we were looking for. It really turned out to be the best vacation we've ever taken and we've been married nearly 38 years.
I would recommend it for families with kids, couples, singles and old folks.
The beach and sunsets are breath taking.
You will not regret choosing this property!!

Just a few steps from a beautiful beach, this rental unit was just what we were looking for. The owner is friendly and helpful, but unobtrusive. We loved being able to cook an evening meal and sit in the little gazebo that overlooks the ocean. We even saw whales breaching in the distance on more than one occasion. A short bicycle ride will bring you to other great beaches, including the famous Pipeline.
