BEACHFRONT WalkOut - $125 - MAY Rate - Sandy Beach
Description from the owner
SPECIAL $125/nt. rate for open days in May.
Aloha! "Our Piece Of Paradise" is an OCEANFRONT, Ground Floor WALK-OUT with an unobstructed view of a beautiful, quiet, sandy beach that is only 29 steps away. Our beach is reef protected, meaning the waves break offshore on it. So the ones coming in on to the beach are pretty calm. Making our part of the ocean good for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and sailing. And it is especially good for small children.
We just finished remodeling the shower. We took out the tub and put in a new tiled shower with a bench and plenty of niches for you shower items. Check out the pictures I just added!
We have a true 1-bedroom (not the small sleeping alcove some call a bedroom). Our condo is 728sf inside with a 100sf lanai. Many people have told us we have the best location in the building. Our unit is one of only two full size one bedroom condos in the building with an unobstructed ocean view that also has the convenience of being able to just walk right out to the beach. Of course we like ours the best because we recently remodeled it.
We purchased "Our Piece Of Paradise" four years ago now, and the first thing we did was remodel it. The kitchen was the most time consuming, but it was worth it...and it was a labor of love. This year we took down the old ceiling and replaced it with a new plaster ceiling with a pretty petal design. We also put a new tile floor in the bedroom, replaced the couch & loveseat cushions, and bought new patio furniture. This included two lounge chairs because we noticed the complex doesn't have enough to go around and we wanted our guests to be sure they had some. It seems like every time we go, we do a little more to it. We've hired the best cleaning person in the building so our guests can be assured the condo will be freshly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for you to enjoy.
We have tried to stock our vacation home with all the things we enjoy when we are traveling. One of my favorite things is the Murphy Bed. You will have the choice to sleep in the bedroom on the king size Sealy Plush bed, or in the front room listening to the waves and waking up to see the Sunrise from the queen size Serta Euro-Top Murphy Bed. We also have new SS appliances, cabinets, countertops, rattan furniture, linens, dishes & silverware, cookware, beach towels & mats, boogie boards, snorkel gear, coolers, and much more. We have lots of dresser, closet, and cabinet space, so you will be able to empty your suitcases and make yourself at home. We've also read our guests comments and picked up the things they suggested we have that we didn't think about before.
Our goal is to have you walk in...take one look at the gorgeous ocean view, feel the tradewinds blowing through, listen to the waves...and immediately relax & let all your stress start melting away. Close your eyes and imagine it now...doesn't it sound wonderful? We like to sit on the lanai and watch the waves break on the reef, sometimes we even sleep on the murphy bed when it's just the two of us just so the waves can lull us to sleep. It is truly our idea of Paradise!
We have seen big Sea Turtles sleeping on the beach at Sunrise, and Whales spouting and breaching in the ocean from November to April. We enjoy beautiful sunrises in the morning and moonrises at night. You will have the beach practically all to yourself, because there is no public beach access. The pool area is also just for residents and their guests, you need a key FOB to enter (which also helps to make it so kids can't come in without their parents).
Unlike most rentals, we have no lock box to mess with. You will be welcomed by our agent who will show you where everything is, how to use it, and will be your on-island contact person while you are here to help with any questions you may have. You will have "No Worries" as the locals say...only to decide if you are going to spend the day on the beautiful beach outside your lanai or go for a scenic drive along the coast to do some sightseeing.
We are located on the North Shore, away from all the Honolulu traffic and congestion, but still just a beautiful 45 minute drive (thru the mountains and along the coastline) from the airport. We are centrally located for many popular tourist attractions. We're 10 minutes from the Polynesian Cultural Center, BYU campus, Laie Temple, and Kualoa Ranch, 15 minutes from Turtle Bay Golf Course, 20 minutes from the popular surfing beaches and Waimea Valley, 25 minutes from Kaneohe, and 30 minutes from Kailua and Haleiwa.
We would love to share "Our Piece Of Paradise" with you and help you make wonderful memories of your visit to Paradise! One of our favorite sayings is, "What happens in Hawaii...........stays with you forever"!!...Read more

We spent a week in this beautiful condo and plan to come back again. Everything previously stated was true as are the posted photos. We had five in our family, three adults and two kids. My mom slept on the Murphy bed and my girls, aged 7 & 12, slept on the futons on the living room floor. Everyone was comfortable & my mom loved to waking up to an ocean view sunrise. The washer & dryer were such a plus as we didn't pack as many clothes. Anything we needed was there: beach chairs, towels, sand toys, snorkeling gear & coolers. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, coffee pot, even plastic wrap & foil! There's many places to eat and shop within a few miles of the condo and there's a binder full of information and menus. Chris & Al's contact on the island, Kathe, was great! She met us when we arrived and was readily available when needed. If you want a peaceful and quiet stay while on Oahu, this is the place to be! Thank you, Chris & Al for sharing your piece of paradise and we will be back!

Cleanliness is a must for me and this place passed with flying colors. It was comfortable and even provided the extra little things that make you feel at home. I was pleased to find beach chairs, beach towells and snorkeling gear and even a cooler which we used to pack picnic lunches. Having a washer and dryer available meant we didn't need to pack so many clothes. The condo is on the ground floor so it is a very short walk straight out to the beach. Snorkeling was fun and we even saw some big sea turtles. I prefer staying away from the hustle and bustle of the big City and here it was quiet and the beach was not crowded. It was only a 35-45 minute "beautiful" drive to the city and Pearl Harbor. Exploring the north shore provides many breathtaking views of both the ocean and the mountains. There are grocery and drugs stores within a few miles of the condo to provide for your needs. I would definately recommend this place for my family and friends and will likely stay there again if we get to go back. As you can tell, we had a great time. Thank you Chris and al Livingston for sharing your little piece of "paradise!"

We absolutely loved this condo, it was exactly what we were looking for. We've been to Oahu several times, and have even stayed at this complex before. But this is by far the best condo we've stayed in. It is literally steps away from a beautiful sandy beach that hardly ever had anybody on it. The condo is remodeled and has everything we wanted supplied to us.
The best thing about it was that it is on the ground floor and we could walk right in and out of the lanai with out having to mess with going up and down the elevator. If we forgot something, or even just had to go to the bathroom, it was a matter of seconds, not minutes. There are maintenance people during the day and security guards at night, so we felt very safe.
Another great thing that we didn't even think of when we booked it, is that the owners pay an agent, Kathy, to meet us when we arrive to give us our keys and show us where everything is. She was very helpful and saved us from having to try to figure out how to use the lockboxes, that so many people were having problems with.
Chris & Al are the owners and were very helpful right from start. We originally were looking at dates that they had just booked. So we adjusted them to match an opening they had, and boy are we glad we did. We will definitely be coming back to this condo. We now think of it as "Our" Piece of Paradise, too!!

We just got back from staying in this condo. This will have been our 5th trip to Hawaii and this one is the best yet because of this condo and the location. The condo is beautiful, has everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay and you can't beat the location. Just outside your door is a wonderful beach that is so private - I think on the busiest day there were maybe 14 people on the beach. The condo was very quiet, we had neighbors on both sides and upstairs and really didn't hear them. The windward side of the island is beautiful and easy to get around (except stay away from the North Shore on the weekends). Chris and al were great to work with, Kathe the housekeeper was also wonderful. The condo comes equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear, everything you need to enjoy time at the beach. We will be coming back.

No need to repeat all the great compliments. Great spot away from the crowds yet located in a very convenient spot to both the North Shore and the south part of the island. I found this condo an excellent value, probably one of the best beachfront deals on Oahu. Simple, efficient, and functional in a very nice location. Perfect protected beach for snorkeling and swimming with our small children. Also, great high speed wifi!

Our stay at this condo was wonderful! The accomodations were great, and the location was perfect to experience Oahu's North Shore. We were close to some amazing surfing and waves, and breathtaking landscapes and beaches. We were able to snorkel footsteps away from the condo and found some fantastic coral formations. This was such a great time! The owners were amazing!! We had a bad experience with several cancelled flights, and Chris and al went above and beyond to make up for something they weren't even remotely responsible for. The property manager was really great, too. We inconvenienced him many times, with a very late arrival, a very early departure, and a lost purse, and the whole time he was more than happy to help and really helped make our trip more smooth. The whole package, the condo, Chris and al, and Paul, was wonderful!!

Our stay was magnificent. The accommodations were excellent. The beach was gorgeous and easy to access. There was everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked. It was easy to make our own dinners and enjoy them while listening to the waves on the beach. There are also many places to visit in the area. It's a great location.
Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who would visit Hawaii.

I'm not a traveler and do not like crowds, that is why we picked the East shore. No surprises here, I think the most people we saw on our beach was 6. The condo was just as described recently remodeled great king and queen bed. Did hear the elevator every once in a while. I used the snorkeling equipment and kick board even in the rain. It was well stocked with cooking equipment, towels toiletries and linens. Chris the owner called to make sure everything was to our liking. It rained everyday, we did have to spend some time in the condo but with movies and TV & books we kept ourselves entertained. Chris felt bad that we had so much rain that she offered the condo for a few extra days, would have loved to stay but jobs were calling and we missed our new grandson. We would recommend this condo to friends and family a great home a way from home and relaxing away from the crowds. Thanks again Chris and al. A great place. Kurt and Lisa Idaho

Having been to Oahu three previous times I felt I knew the island, but this was the first time we stayed on the north side. This time we could really relax. The pace is slower, the beaches better and the sun rises are far better. The condo couldn't be nicer; bright, spacious and well supplied from a great kitchen to water toys. We expected to eat out often but it was so easy at "home" we only ate out twice. Plus fresh papaya every morning.
Our second couple couldn't stop saying how much nicer a full Murphy bed was over the usual futon or foldout.
And having "our" beach (never saw more than six out there at any time) so few steps away from our "ground floor" unit was a delight. The turtles came by for a visit more than once and we got to view Molakai & Maui on our last morning. That we were told is a rare event indeed due to the normal morning sky conditions.
Normally we would start the day with a colorful pre-sunrise followed about ten minutes later by the real thing and the beach palms at our location gave excellent framing for dozens of photos. I now have a great selection of sunrises rotating across by PC Desktop backdrop.
I guess I shouldn't say so many good things, it may make return reservations harder to get. Read more
Thank you for all the wonderful comments. We're very happy we were able to help make your first stay on the North side of the island be such a good one. We would love to have you and your family come back and be our guests again anytime. You just tell us when you're thinking about coming and we'll block your dates off for you, then we'll adjust them if we have to. We want to be sure we are available for you!!
