“WHY this is THE B E S T Condo Experience on Kaanapali Beach!!” Why this is the B E S T Condo Experience on Kaanapali Beach!! 1 – The Closest Oceanfront Condo location on Kaanapali Beach 2 – Luxurious Condo with the comforts of home 3 – Gourmet Kitchen with extensive accessories and staples 4 – Condo Owners COMMITTED to Excellent Customer Service 1 – Our family has stayed in every Kaanapali property (excluding the Sheraton) on Kaanapali Beach. They all have their own special characteristics and charm. The Whaler Condo 802 has the best location, comfort, and luxurious amenities. Most of the resorts are all set back from the ocean, and you do not have that feeling of being right on the ocean. Condo 802 is directly in front of the ocean. The soothing ocean sounds truly enhances the level of relaxation during both awake and sleeping hours. The beach in front of The Whaler is one of the best beach sites on Kaanapali Beach for relaxing and swimming. There is a reef directly in front of The Whaler that is good for snorkeling. Black Rock is a short walk from The Whaler that has OUTSTANDING snorkeling and turtle siting opportunities. 2 – The Condo is breathtakingly beautiful and immaculate. The owners, Simon and JaNell, are committed to comfort and luxury. The beds are extremely comfortable. I have sleep challenges “on the mainland” but not in Condo 802. I could not believe how well I slept. This is our 2nd time staying in Condo 802, and I have now stayed in both the guest and master rooms. The sleep situation was outstanding in both rooms. The Master Suite is spectacular. Both rooms are wonderful. However, the Master Suite is incredible! Also, the Lanai is so wonderful. As stated previously, you cannot get any closer to the ocean. We were able to directly watch the whales and site turtles as they swim along the beach line. We even saw a small pod of dolphins swimming close by, as well!! 3 – The kitchen is fantastic! We stayed for 12 nights in Condo 802. (For this trip, we decided to stay more days and dine out less.) We prepared the majority of our meals in the condo. (Martha Stewart would not be disappointed.) Every kitchen utensil and appliance is available. Spices and staples are on hand. We had many gourmet dinners, and we were never deficit for the proper accoutrements. 4 – Simon and JaNell Zemel are outstanding owners. We have stayed in many other Whaler condos. All of The Whaler owners have been wonderful. However, Simon and JaNell set a very high bar for customer service. Shortly after our arrival we received a welcome call from JaNell. She called to ensure that everything in the Condo was accommodating our needs, and she wanted to make certain that we were enjoying our stay in their home. The owners are immediately responsive to any request or issue. We had a minor garbage disposal malfunction. It was immediately addressed and resolved. Simon and JaNell are committed to making your experience in Condo 802 to be relaxing and luxurious. I believe the difference in staying at a 5 Star Resort, and The Whaler Condo 802, is that Condo 802 feels like home. There are wonderful kitchen supplies, toiletries, and laundry supplies. Condo 802 is also stocked with beach gear, which eliminates the need to rent beach gear that you may need during your vacation. Again, the owners are outstanding. They make you feel like you are close friends staying in their home. The only negative issue is leaving. The reentry into reality is very tough after staying at The Whaler Condo 802.

“Home away from home.” My third time staying at the condo. Love the location right next to the Whaler's Shops, great value and the beautiful beach just a few steps away from your balcony. Every time I call Larry to make my reservations he is very courteous and helpful. Always a great vacation!!!

“Amazingly Remarkable Vacation Spot” We found our paradise !! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach Resort in Maui. The view is amazing! How wonderful to hear the waves crashing just below. Soothing and so romantic! So nice to be able to cook meals in and also use the Bbq's at the pool. My husband enjoyed meeting other guy's cooking at the Bbq's. It was quite the social atmosphere. We have been to Maui several times and really liked the location of your condo. So much better than staying in a motel with all the amenities you provided. Thank you so much for the wonderfully decorated tropical atmosphere we had an amazing vacation and will be booking again real soon.

“Beautiful Waikiki” Great location, central waikiki, close to everything, beaches, restaurants, grocery shopping, entertainmwnt. The most beautiful view from the large lanai, beach chairs, boogie boards. Very quiet unit on the 30th floor. LOVE the warm water pool. Definitely want to come back soon and stay longer.

“Everything you need for you stay is included.” I traveled total with 4 adults and 2 kids (1y, 2y). The condo met all of our needs. It isn’t the most modern look of furniture, but we weren’t in Maui for that. The staircase is a bit scary for the kids to want to climb and can be slippery with socks. We were on high alert the whole time. We noticed towards the end of our stay they have a baby gate in the downstairs closet on the top shelf. It is a loft style condo so the master bedroom upstairs is exposed for all to hear, no privacy. The condo provides all of your needed beach gear including chairs, toys, boogie boards, fishing pole. It was super convenient. The kitchen has everything including a rice cooker, toaster, microwave, utensils, spices, plates, cups, and a pantry full of good stuff. The dinning room table is glass and so is the coffee table. They tend to get smudged up the most. Also, for little kids, watch out for the corners of the glass kitchen table. They are really sharp. The TV in the living room is a good size. They have a small capacity washer/dryer, which was perfect for our light packing and constant wet clothes from beach. You do have to provide your own toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent, after you use up the 1 they provide. We left what we didn’t use for the next renters. There is fold out bed in the couch in the living room. There are two twins in the downstairs room, the beds are really hard, and so our friends didn't get good sleep. They said the fold out bed was more comfy, but on the right side only. The master bed is a queen and it is more comfy than all of the beds in the place. It has a master bathroom which has been remodeled recently. You do have to clean up before you leave or else you will incur a hefty cleaning fee. They have most cleaning supplies you need. It is a walk away from a really nice beach. There is a rinse off station by the gates from when you return from the beach. There is a pool and several BBQ pits onsite. The property is beautiful with fountains and bridges and open spaces to play with the kids. I had no problems while staying at this property. It is a quiet location. It is located in a good area and is surrounded by a ton of restaurants, coffee shops, and activity locations. Not far from the airport either. We would stay here again.

“Great trip to Maui” My family and I enjoyed our time at Ekahi. Loved the view from the balconies, and chairs and other beach equipment was there for our use. The property management was very accomodating and when we had one thing missing from the condo, it was there the next day. I think this is a great condo for a family of 2 adults 2 the layout offers privacy in the master suite and a pool, is just outside the condo. Just be advised, it is a bit of a walk to the beach, however, you can drive down and park. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Quiet and pleasant. Lovely pool and rec area at the beach. I would stay here again, just a little closer to the beach.

“Great place to stay” Very well equiped with everything you need more than we expected. Very clean, quite and cozy it felt like home. We will come back next year for sure.

“Princeville gem” We stayed here for a week and enjoyed every minute. The condo was perfect, very spacious, amazing views, lovely lanai.

“A nice property but crowded and hot” I really like the location of the Pali Ke Kua condo's. Easy walking distance to the princeville beach, view of the ocean and easy access to a walking trail. We stayed in unit 241 which was clean and very nice inside. A little worn in places but overall very nice. Another positive is the 1000sq feet and the two beds in the second bedroom making it perfect for a family with more than one child. On the downside the Pali Ke Kua is a very high density condo building that was built before insulation was required so get used to hearing your neighbors talk, shower, flush their toilets etc. If they come home drunk you get to enjoy that also. I've stayed at the Pali Ke Kua twice and both time I have thought the value is excellent considering the views and location. Just be aware it isn't the most quiet location.

“A very comfortable home away from home” We spent 5 wonderful days of our 3 week holiday o"here. A perfect spot to be to explore the north part of Kauai. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Everything that we could need to make our stay comfortable was provided. Highly recommend. We will come again if we are fortunate enough to visit Kauai in the future.

“Paradise - very luxurious” This is a very luxurious condo. It is brand new, on a nice beach. We felt like we were at home. It was beter than we expected. The location is perfect, lots of restaurants and stores nearby. We will certainly go back soon. We will recommand it to our friends.
