“very relaxing” it was pet friendly, kid friendly, and the little town near by was full of wonderful people. the area is gorgeous and the climate was amazing. the hot tub is outside and the view from it is perfect. also, the cabin is very unique in its design. there is a place nearby that rents canoes, its a little general store called new river general store. the people there were really great and even sent us a newspaper clipping from the nearby town paper. we were pictured in it because a photographer had snapped a picture of us canoing for an article they ran. She recognized us and mailed it, using the info she had from when we rented the canoe. what a great place to relax.

“Peaceful retreat. Great location” We enjoyed our two nights at the Enchanted Cottage. It was cool and rainy and the fireplace was great. Enjoyed the scenery, the streams, the Floyd Country Store and Micky Gs for lunch.

“Love love love!” We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Anita was extremely helpful and the house was beautiful! We loved sitting outside and listening to the stream and the hot tub was perfect! Our stay was just what the doctor ordered and we loved every minute of it! The location of the cabin is amazing too because you are secluded while being a short drive from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We will definitely be back!

“Lovely, charming and warm cabin!” We had a great time staying at the cabin over Christmas 2012. Ideal for our family (two adults & two children). The cabin has everything you need to be comfortable, well equipped and warm. Nice and quiet place - no impact from I-70, easy to get to the shuttle bus to Vail! Short walk/or drive to supermarket if needed. The kids enjoyed the new snow and had fun rolling and tubing around the hills behind the cabin.

“Roomy, bright and cozy cabin in a beautiful setting - perfect ge” We had a really fun and relaxing few days at this cabin - it's minutes away from cute shops and great restaurants. Inside it has cozy furnishings, a washer/dryer and everything you could need in the kitchen. We kept a big fire going most of the time - especially when watching movies on the big screen tv! Outside, there's a big back deck, perfect for outdoor activities and barbeques. The yard right behind the deck is a great sledding hill and an there's a small alpine slide close by, not to mention the Bear Mountain slopes! Would recommend it for families, or for a quiet relaxing getaway.

“Perfect Trip!” We did not travel far from where we are from, but we felt like we had escaped to the most beautiful part of the middle of nowhere. Everything you forgot or might have forgotten was available, and the six of us (8 one night) slept completely comfortably. We have already inquired about returning in summers and winters to come. We were secluded, and the yard was perfect for our endless bocce ball games. Very worth it!

“Private Mountain Top” Very private spot with far views and a good size yard to kick around in. We went in autumn and the colors were lovely. The bed is in the upstairs loft and the bath is on the lower floor. Otherwise there is ample space while still feeling cozy. Very warm in cold weather with the heating system. Nice sized hot tub on the rear deck with easy access through the back kitchen door. Great sunrise and sunset views from this lot. A very appealing spot. The steep gravel road is sharply inclined so a four wheel drive would be necessary in rain or snow.

“Honeymoon of our dreams!” These cabins are amazing and we cant wait to go back! We stayed only 2 nights, which wasnt nearly enough. There is a lot to do in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The one and only complaint we had was the directions sent after booking to the specific cabin. No N,S,E,W, the sign you turn at is 2'x2' (hard to spot as a tourist), and "between the trees by the creek" isnt what I call good directions. We didnt get the physical address until we qrrived.

“Best weekend ever :)” I have recently rented the bungalow and just have great things to say about it. The place is so cozy, and cute, they had everything we needed and the location couldn't be better. It's very close to any of the skii resorts and many attractions, market...It was only my boyfriend and I and the bungalow was just the perfect choice to spend a holiday weekend. “Loved our stay at the Summit” The Summit is a great get away. It is very private, being at the to of the mountain. The house is beautiful and very clean. It has everything that you need to make your stay pleasant. Everything in the house works. This was our second trip to the house. The owners are great people and a pleasure to work with. We have already rented for our next stay from the same people and will continue to do so as long as we need to rent a cabin.

“Adventure!” I was impressed with the shifting scenery, nature itself, the feel of being comforted and calmed! I cannot recommend this enough, especially for those where life never slows down. “Perfect pet-friendly cabin with style and a view!” Location is great. Easy to find and get to. Few minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Has all the accomodations for a perfect, relaxing weekend.
