Description

Holme House Cottage is a beautiful 17th Centuary stone built detached cottage, situated close to the small village of Oakworth, and two miles from Haworth. This characterful cottage has been lovingly restored to provide luxury holiday accommodation just a couple of miles from historic Haworth.

The cottage has a lovely modern well equipped kitchen, cosy cottage lounge with wood burning stove. Through the rear porch is a beautiful country garden and patio area, perfect for relaxing in the Summer sun.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double bedroom and one Single bedroom with a three quarter bed. The cottage is served by a lovely house bathroom.

“Ok but average”

Lovely location and a short walk down to an extremely pretty walk through woodland and along the stream. Whilst the cottage was ok for three people and the owners on hand and happy to help, there were several things that could be improved. The owner has remote control of the heating via the wifi and we didn't find it ideal to have to keep contacting the owners for heating requests, further hampered by the wifi losing connection. The kitchen seemed to be equipped with many items that had seen better days (I would definitely bin the cheese grater!). The family 'luxury' bathroom would also benefit from an uplift.

“Peaceful”

Just come back from 2 night at this beautiful cottage. We were thrilled when we saw it, its in the most beautiful location with wonderful views across the countryside. The house is cosy, very clean and well equipped. There is a lovely pub called the Turkey Inn about 10 mins walk away. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend if you're looking to get away from it all.

“Beautiful Idyllic Cottage”

Beautiful Idyllic Cottage just outside the village of Oakworth. We fell in love with the cottage as soon as we walked in and looked around. The cottage is so quiet and peaceful and in a beautiful location. It is ideally situated just outside Keithley and has easy access to the area. 4 major supermarkets are within the same 10 minute drive as is the town of Keithley. If your looking for a peaceful, quiet cosy cottage to stay in, you can't get better than this. We will definitely come again.

Lovely cottage in Bronte country. Well presented and tidy. Ideal base for days out exploring and also great views and a nice garden at rear to sit and relax in the sun if you fancy a lazy day. Would definitely use again

This is a lovely little cottage. Cosy and warm. Good wifi and facilities. Clean and well presented. There is a small back garden with a seating area for summer evenings. We would certainly stay again.

“A Fabulous Experience”

If you are looking for a quiet retreat away from the hussle and bustle of cosmopolitan life then this is the one for you. Surrounded by the Yorkshire hills with picturesque views, anyone will have their energies rejuvenated. The cottage is fantastic with all mod cons. Coal fire and wooden beams compliment the 300 year old features. There is a rear a rear gorge and stream to the back and the constant sound of moving water calms the mind endlessly.
