Hay Riverside Retreats is trio of stunning luxury holiday cottages in a peaceful location overlooking the River Wye and yet within a hundred yards of the historic clock tower in the centre of Hay-on-Wye. It has been independently rated at the maximum 5 Star status by Visit Wales since November 2010.

Each house is identical and offers luxury self-catering holidays in which make the perfect hideaways for a romantic break, or for time out with friends and family. The historic Welsh market town of Hay on Wye, famous for its international literary festival and as a centre for second hand books, is busy with visitors throughout the year. There are lots of good places for a cappuccino or a meal out, with a range of quality cafes, pubs and restaurants both in town and in the countryside nearby. For those who want to prepare meals at home, Hay boasts a top class deli, organic butchers, small bakery and Thursday market renowned for its award winning food stalls offering quality local produce including organic fruit and vegetables, cheese, breads, and ice-creams. For entertainment are the Globe arts centre with its regular programme of live music and comedy, and also Booths Bookshop and boutique cinema. Riverside paths are found on both banks of the river and are easily accessible for leisurely strolls or more strenuous hikes.
