Description

Fish, Swim, Kayak, hike or just relax, and recharge, as you listen to the flowing water of the Chattahoochee river at this cozy mountain retreat. Look out at the spectacular view of the National Forest, and the Chattahoochee river rushing across river rocks from any of our three decks. Enjoy our private beach, where you will find a pool area and several gentle rapids. Put your chair at the river’s edge, dip your feet in the clear cool water, read your favorite book, or go for a swim. Take your fishing pole and try your luck at catching bass or trout and grill it back at the cabin.

The cabin’s three high decks provide a dramatic view, but are not appropriate for kids under five years of age. All three decks overlook the Chattahoochee and have comfortable outdoor furnishings as well as a grill on middle deck. Enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee, breakfast or a picnic near the beach area as you take in the magnificent view before you. Every room has been tastefully decorated. Downstairs bedroom has a Queen bed, and full bathroom with tub. Upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and an additional half bathroom. The cabin is best suited for a family with two children or one couple, but no more then four guests total, including day guests. The cabin has everything you’ll need for a weekend or a week long getaway. It is located in a quiet, private community. The kitchen has brand new appliances and is well stocked, washer and dryer, as well as Wifi are all available to you. Each and every room fills with the sound of the gentle rush of the river. A fireplace in the living room gives this cabin a cozy feel in the cooler months. Upstairs you will find the game room with foosball table and air hockey. A flatscreen TV is in the living room and upstairs bedroom with movies at your fingertips. Located close to Helen(25 min.), Sauté Nacochee, Clarksville, Cleveland, and Dahlonega, but just far enough away for a peaceful retreat in this private community. When you are ready to explore further,you are close enough to everything; including shops, restaurants and entertainment, award winning wineries, art galleries, theater and more. If you lack for anything, we have family who takes care of the cabin and live close by. Check in is at 4:00pm and check out at 11:00am.

Our cabin is completely smoke free and we do not allow pets, for health reasons of some of our family members, who also use the cabin.

We have left a binder with lots of good info. about the house and surrounding area, including maps and up to date events calendar for the nearby area. We have family near by who manages the River House and is available for anything you need while you are visiting. We will also be available by phone, text or e-mail should you need anything.

“Beautiful location”

Was an amazing home with amazing views and private river access. Owner was very responsive and helpful with any questions. Will definitely stay again in the future.

“Wonderful cabin”

Response from the owner So sorry to see you did not find the accomodations to your liking. This is a cozy cabin in a rustic setting. The walkway to the house is not paved with concrete. It is a stone pathway. If you are looking for slick and shiny, this is not the spot for you. If you are looking for a breathtaking view with a cozy, comfy cabin feel, you are in for a treat. As attested to by the 23 other 5 star reviews.
