The Fresh Spring Yurt, sleeping 4-6, a double raised bed, another double futon sofa bed, and two other single beds, all bed linen is pure cotton and bedding is down duvet.. the yurt which has high ceiling with a see through dome, allows one to watch the stars at night and the blue sky and the white clouds during a clear day. A comfortable outdoor experience and an alternative to indoor living, complete with a danish Jotul wood burner to make it cozy and snug. The Fresh Spring Yurt - New Inn Brilley, is situated in the tiny village of Brilley, on the grounds of the New Inn, once a Pub until after the wecond war. The Yurt resides with a little woodland infront, sitting within peace and quiet, unspoiled nature, by the Fresh Spring. Heart of Herefordshire rolling hills, it is still one of the rare gems of the British Isles, peace and quiet, with a landscape of hills, farmland and woodland stretching as far as the vision extends... looking on to the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons.
There also is a refurbished Barn- Lha -Khang , where one can retreat to practice Yoga, Tai-Qi, meditation... ideal for contemplative practices.
The other end of the House offers a Self Contained Suite Sleaping 4.
From the New Inn one can walk right into footpaths, many to chose from, horse riding and canoueing is one of the common sports practiced here.
There are good restaurants, nearest just down a mile, Hay on Wye is the famous ssecond book town, with its festivals a popular attraction now days.
There is space infront of the property for parking.
How to get here;
BY CAR, Driving here, from Hereford direction, on the A438 through the villages of Winforton, then Whitney-on-Wye, carry on as you pass the sign on your left ‘Clifford Toll Bridge’ another 500 yds, as the road narrows and climbs, you will see a small sign ‘Brilley’, a very sharp turn to the right, climbing
and winding for 500 yds, and New Inn is on your right where you will also see the Prayer Flags. If you find yourself in Hay, you have missed the turn and gone passed 5 miles!…y train: direct service from London Paddington to Hereford.
BY BUS National Express runs regular services to Hereford from all over the U.K.
