Forest Beach stretches along the Atlantic Ocean between Shipyard and Sea Pines Plantations. Bike paths and neighborhood lanes on North and South Forest Beach eventually draw one to Coligny Plaza, the hub of the Forest Beach area. While competing with the natural beauty and lure of the beach, the plaza offers a variety of shopping, dining, and fun entertainment for the whole family.

Our families met on HHI to spend Thanksgiving. Our first son married in May and we were able to spend quality time with him and his new bride. We then were planning son #2's wedding on HHI next Oct.with him and his fiance. It was a perfect week in this house. It felt like home.Easy check-in ,comfortable, clean, close to everything, great layout with privacy for everyone. We prepared meals, walked the beach, and settled in at evening after a busy day on the island. Was perfect for us. Are planning to reserve this home again for the wedding week. Great memories. What I liked best was pet friendly. What I liked least - no gas grill (had to revert to charcoal)

We love this house. It is in a great location to the beach and everything that we want to do while we are on vacation. The house is beautiful and very well kept. We love that it has a privet pool that we can enjoy when we aren't at the beach. We love this place so much that we have rented it two years in a row. We even plan to rent it again in 2012.

I had rented the house through the Sunset Rental website. I later called and spoke with a representative to have the hot tub heated for our stay. I specifically chose a house with a hot tub. The $700.00 was charged to my credit card. I thought the heat for the hot tub would be turned on upon our arrival. I was upset to find it was not heating when we arrived. We called Sunset Rentals and left a message. We later received a call from Sunset Rentals maintenance and he did come and try to help us. He was not familiar with the pool and could not turn the heat on for the hot tub. He told us we would have to wait for the pool man to come on Tuesday. We thought that was unacceptable and were surprised to see the pool man on Monday. He told us Sunset Rental maintenance did not know how to operate the pool system and that the hot tub could be heated by itself. He told us it is controlled by a box located inside the dinning room and is locked with a key. We told him we paid for it to be heated. He told us he would locate the key and turn it on for us. We never saw the pool man again. We were not happy with the cleanliness of the house. The floors did not seem to be vacuumed. There was still whole pieces of food on the kitchen floor. There was cat and or dog hair on the carpets. Our things were covered with animal hair. The kitchen is not stocked very well for cooking and eating in. The house had a horrible odor of wet dogs. The cleanliness of the house is minor compared to losing $700.00 dollars for something that was never going to be given to us in the first place. We did not get what we paid for because Sunset Rentals failed to see that the hot tub heat was turned on for there paying customer.

The rental home was perfect for us and our two small dogs. Stayed in the fall so didn't use the pool but it did look inviting. Home is spacious so that everyone had their own room and was comfortable. Location to the beach and easy access was great.

The house had plenty of bedrooms, but the community space in the house was limited. The location is close, with a short walk, to the ocean. The rental rate in 2009 was a great deal. The rental rate in 2011 is too high for the space that you get. The kitchen and laundry were a good size and adequately stocked.

We had 3 teenagers with us - ages 15-17. It was close to the beach and coligny plaza so the kids could go off and do stuff without us being worried. This house accepted pets, so our dog got to come play with us.

Nice place to stay with friends. Close to the beach and nice pool with large shade area. I would love to go back to this home again. If you are looking for a pet friendly home close to the beach this would be a great pick!
