(The house was beautiful, (it had a few things that
needed fixed but that is expected with rentals). There were 11 of us and 2 dogs and we had more than enough room. Very nicely decorated and close to the beach. All 11 of us would rent this again!

Our vacation included family members from 17 to 75 years of age and everyone was comfortable and happy with the house. It was wonderful that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Kitchen, living room, and dining room provided plenty of room while allowing everyone to still be together. Only thing that could have been better was having an extra refrigerator to accommodate all the food and drinks needed for 16 people. Deck area also provided lots of room for everyone. Pool was small but was big enough to cool off. Location was easy walk to the beach.

House was nice. Washer did not work the entire week. Called on monday someone came and looked at it but we never got any resolution. Mattress in front bedroom on left needs to be changed. Location was excellent.
“Luxurious but comfortable house in a perfect location!”

Our family began our search for a beach house rental in January 2010 and hit the jackpot when we discovered Low County was available the week of our planned vacation. Hilton Head Rentals and Golf accurately described the home and its amenities on their website. Renting the home was a simple process (the easiest I've ever experienced!) and the keyless entry made check in convenient. All the staff with whom I worked to rent the house were helpful, polite, and competent.
My family loved the home: it was clean, beautifully decorated, and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed and each bedroom having its own bathroom was great. We vacationed in Hilton Head during a week of 90 degree temperatures and 115 heat indexes, so the pool was perhaps the most used and enjoyed accommodation, especially by the kids! The patio was shady in parts and sunny in others, so everyone was happy. Too, trees surrounding the property provided nearly complete privacy, which was a pleasant surprise. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely. My only complaint would be the washing machine was broken when we arrived, which was only an inconvenience, not a problem. I'm sure that has been fixed, though, as we reported it to Hilton Head Rentals and Golf and they were taking steps to repair or replace it during our stay.
The walk to the beach was short and relatively easy (but hot!!). The beach was breathtaking, the water warm, and sand soft and white. Harbour Point was a quick drive away. Our kids really enjoyed the live music there and the atmosphere was festive. Overall the house was in a great location.
A week after we arrived home, my four year old son said he wanted to invent a machine to make the world go backward. When I asked why, he replied that he wanted time to go back to the day we got to the beach house. That says it all, really. Our whole family wants to go back-- it was the best vacation we've ever had!

The house was pretty close to a perfect fit for us. There were enough bedrooms, we loved the open floor plan for the kitchen and family room, and the close proximity to the beach and park were great for the kids.
We ate in every day (we like to cook) so having a nice kitchen was important to us. The house itself, pool and spa were great. The rooms were all good sizes and the 3 master suites were perfect - there were 3 families that shared the house.
The park was one of the clinching factors for us picking this house and we were not disappointed. The kids played over there, rode their bikes and it worked really well for us. The beach access was great too. The house was clean and the items included (towels, kitchen utensils) were very good.
Here are some things that we thought could have made the experience even better:
1. The refrigerator was small. The house has 6 bedrooms so on average there are probably going to be at least 12 people in the house. Having a second frig/freezer either in the laundry room off of the kitchen or in the basement/ground floor would be a big plus. Nothing fancy, just a good size frig to store stuff.
2. The gas grill needs to be replaced. The first night there we cooked burgers and we literally had to cook them 2 at a time. There was a charcoal grill provided and we used that the rest of the time and it worked fairly well but again with a house that size buying a decent sized gas grill that works would be a big help.
Between the frig and the grill the owners are probably looking at a $1,000 investment, in my mind it would be worth it.
3. The hinge on the dishwasher door needs to be fixed. Another suggestion regarding that - there is a lot of cabinet space in the kitchen. The owners may want to consider adding a second dishwasher, again there are usually going to be a lot of people at the house. We remodeled our kitchen about 6 years ago and one of the best things we did was put in a 2nd dishwasher.
We are extremely excited to hear you enjoyed your stay at Low Country Manor. We have taken note of your suggestions of improvement and have contacted the owner! Hopefully when you return next time, EVERYTHING will be perfect!
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience as it helps us improve for future guest and it is my hope that we will have the opportunity to host you again on Hilton Head Island!

This was a very nice place to stay. We had 10 adults and 9 kids with us ages 14 years to 7 mounths. We brought with us a few blow up beds for the kids. The pool was plenty big enough to all the kids to play in and the deck was huge! The grill and deck furniture was a bit run down though. The home was in great condition, I just wish it were closer to the ocean. All the appliances were in working condition, which I can't say that about other places we have stayed. The outside of the house does not do it justice, the inside is very nice and well kept up. We had plenty of dishes and pots and pans. We even were able to use a wireless computer at this house. Over all it was a very nice home for our family vacation, pleanty of room and a larger pool. I would recommend this home to anyone with a large family who need a great vacation rental.
