“A peaceful, happy vacation week(with one small hiccup)”
Left on 08/31/2011 for a stay in August 2011 | DRNReviewed Aug 31, 2011Stayed Aug 2011
103 Barrington arms is a clean, well done unit that is a few minute walk to the ocean. Hilton Head Rentals & Golf did an excellent job in getting us the paper work in a timely manner and getting us the keys so when we arrived we could just move into the rental unit--well done. The rental unit was very good-great view and easy to get to and to the ocean. For all that , we'd give it a B or B+. The hiccup was in the utilities-dishwasher and washing machine-very old and need replacement. I opened the dishwasher , thinking it would open like most and have tension hinges or springs so the door would lower slowly. Not so. I opened the door and took my hand off of it and it flew down and gouged a hunk of skin off my shin-very painful and shocked the dickens out of me. My wife had trouble with the washing machine and needed to tend it like it wasn't automatic. If we go to use 103 next year, we'll check to see if both items have been replaced-if not we'll try another unit. and if so, we'll be back to 103
“The unit was very comfortable; the pool and jacuzzi were great.”

This unit was very comfortable: fully equipped kitchen, 2 televisions (VCR and DVD player provided), CD player, comfortable furniture, washer and dryer in the unit, 1.5 baths and pleasant deck off the living room. Unit had plenty of "open/walking space" so as to not be too crowded, while providing just the right amount of furniture needed.

I lived in the Hilton Head area for a few years, but not on the island. This was a wonderful location for beach time, restaurants, etc. Also really enjoyed the pool area and use of the grills, since we love to cook the fresh fish that was so readily available!

Booked a week to get away from an endless winter. Weather was great although the following week would have been a disaster.
All facilities met our expectations. Pool and spa were special with the heating and daily complete care.

Our condo was very clean, and the livingroom great with newer furnishings. The rest of the condo was outdated but very clean. Ienjoyed the proxcimity to the beach and the pool was an added bonus. The biking and walking trails were perfect. I enjoyed the walking on the beacn in the am and the walking trails in late afternoon. The whole complex was beautifully maintained and 2 women alone we felt very safe. thank you for a wonderful week and I will be back.
“Seattle loves Hilton Head Island and Barrington arms!”

We loved our stay in Barrington arms unit 103. Our unit was well appointed, clean, bright and had a beautiful view over the grounds looking out to the ocean. Our suggestions for making it better would be to leave some of the basic spices, such as salt, pepper, sugar, basil, cooking oil, ... in the kitchen that I am sure each new guest as to buy. In our Maui rental, the owner/property manager, using a little discretion, leave these items that everyone needs, but never uses up if they buy, and it makes it much easier. When you come from far away and go to the store, it is hard to remember and needlessly expensive to buy every last little spice you might need... Also, please provide a little more toilet paper, washer soap, ... Up to you, but definitely more convenient for guests.

This was a last minute booking and did not know what to expect. I was searching through the internet for accommodations in Hilton Head for my wife's milestone birthday. Hilton Head Rentals & Golf was in the Google search results. I reviewed the respective web site and different locations for accommodations. All looked well. Made a call to a representative and they made the booking easily and without complications on my desired days.
My wife did not know where we were going to stay and when we arrived she was very pleased with the accommodations and the staff. The staff is very helpful and friendly with great information on sites to visit while in Hilton Head. The condo was very nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the ocean. The staff at the resort was very friendly and educational.
We will definitely book with Hilton Head Resort & Golf again when we visit Hilton Head Island.
