Jane Cottage is a restored sandstone cottage built in 1855. It is a cosy retreat with one bedroom, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and courtyard garden.The kitchen is well equipped containing a convection microwave, hotplates and a bar fridge.The lounge contains a TV, DVD player, WiFi and a comfortable gas heater. It is situated 50 metres from the main restaurant precinct in Hobart.A 7 minute walk will put you at the State Theatre,one of the finest independent movie theatres in Australia showing a wide range of main stream and arthouse films.There is a convenience store,bottle shop, chemist,bakeries and a laundromat all a short walk away.It is situated just off a major bus route which will take you into central Hobart in 12 minutes.Here you can access all the tourist features,shops and attractions including the world famous Salamanca Market on a Saturday.Street parking is available,and a car will open up your travel options including Mona, Port Arthur and the Tahune Airwalk just to name a few.Avoid the impersonal outlook of major hotels and slip back to a more comfortable time for your next holiday or business trip in Hobart.

“Excellent location and facilities”
Jane cottage is a wonderful little cottage, was ideal for us as a couple touring around. The facilities were great and catered for our every need.

“Great Stay”
What great place, so close to everything, food, Salamanca place. We could bring our dog and didn't need to get her babysit (which we're had to do at other places). Love it, will return!
