Description

Apple Tree Cottage is a recently renovated cottage in a quiet position just outside the village of Hockwold, yet is within an hour's drive of Norwich, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge and little over an hour to many of the North Norfolk coastal resorts.

The cottage includes one large bedroom and an open-plan living area, and is ideal for couples. Cot and highchair are available on request.

The local area includes the beautiful Thetford Forest, with many options for walkers and cyclists, and several important bird-watching reserves are also a short drive away. Please note that due to our rural location, mobile phone reception is not great, and the Broadband speed is slow.

Getting around

You will need a car while staying here due to our rural location. The local train station in Brandon is on the route between Norwich, Ely, Cambridge and London.

Interaction with guest

The cottage is attached to my family's home, and I am generally around to welcome guests on arrival. I provide a folder with details of local attractions and amenities, and I am happy to provide further help or information if required

Lovely quiet location. Cottage well equipped and very clean, ideal for two people. Manager very welcoming and friendly. Patio area and access to lovely large garden. We are happy to recommend.
