Our stay in Holland was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the spacious and clean house stocked with everything we needed such as beach chairs, umbrella, and kitchen supplies. The owner was very kind and helpful. The home was in a great location close to beaches, biking trails, restaurants and shopping! One of our favorite parts about the house was the forest like backyard. It was private, fenced and dog friendly. We enjoyed using the deck, large grill, fire pit and tiki torches creating a vacation paradise!
One helpful tip in regards to the beaches is to wait on buying a year round parking pass at Holland State Park. The park was full 3 times during our week. We ended up going to Tunnel Park that we actually preferred and was just as close as the state park. Tunnel Park has a dune to climb with great views, picinic tables and grills at the top. It also had a playground, volleyball courts, bathroom facilitities with snack and pop machines, and of course a tunnel to walk through to the beach!
I would recommend this home to family and friends as a great place to enjoy a lake Michigan vacation!
