'Aussie' Beach Home, 50M to the sand, sea views.

Perfect for an old fashioned 'bucket and spade' holiday by the beach! HIBISCUS HOUSE is a large 2 storey home with plenty of room for a big family group or friends traveling together.

Sit on the upper deck, get comfortable on the day bed, or enjoy a family gathering around the dining table all with wonderful views of the sea.

Downstairs has another living room with a TV/DVD and a computer, and leads out to an undercover patio area which can also be used for dining. The beach is only 50m away, across the small lane and public footpath. This home is pet friendly, with a secure garden area for dogs. Plenty of off street parking available.

Additional Location Information

Holloways Beach is the second beach 12km north of Cairns CBD (less than 20 minute by car). The nearest major shopping centre is 6km north at Smithfield.
Holloways has 3 restaurants, including one on the beachfront, a local sporting club with bar and restaurant, a small local shopping centre with a takeaway, liquor store, newsagency, video store is 300m walk and a new IGA about 2 minutes away by car.

An easy half hour stroll down the beach to the south will bring you to the lovely old beachside haven known as Machans Beach where there is another restaurant on the foreshore. Many old Queenslander houses and a refusal to be swamped by the modern vernacular give Machans it’s distinct character. There is a good fishing spot at the southern end of Machans Beach at the mouth of the Barron River – an especially beautiful spot in the evening.
