Sunbow Bay offers two heated pools, tennis courts, elevators, undercover parking and every conceivable amenity to make your stay there a pleasure. A long boardwalk and fishing pier puts you at the threshold of Anna Maria Sound. This complex is conveniently located on the Island and a short drive to Bradenton shopping. It's just a few blocks to the beautiful beaches on Anna Maria Island!Unit 114 is a very comfortably furnished and well supplied with everything that you need. It has a large screened lanai. The unit sleeps four with two queen size beds. This particular building also has a washer and dryer in the unit.This spacious unit features a 31” television in the living room with a DVD player. The main bedroom has a 26” television. Wireless high speed internet with expanded cable and free domestic calling is provided.Sunbow Bay is a one month minimum rental.Parking is limited to two vehicles.RENTAL DOWN PAYMENTS:Reservations of 28 days or more require a $1000.00 rental down payment. These rental down payments are required to confirm your reservation but are applied toward your final payment. All payments are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. Each reservation requires a $40.00 non-refundable reservation fee.The final payment is due sixty (60) days prior to occupancy by personal check. If you choose to put your final balance on your credit card, there is a 3% fee. We can also accept wire transfers. Any bank fees deducted from a payment for a wire transfer are the responsibility of the guest.SECURITY DEPOSITS: There are two options:1. “Rude Noisy Neighbors /Parking issues/Unit entered while we were”

Unit was nice on the interior, pretty clean, spacious, well furnished (although T-Mobile phone cell service did not work nor was there any internet connectivity). Nice screened in porch although view was the aluminum sided tall building directly behind it. We picked this unit in large part due to the fact that it would allow our one small dog. After we arrived from a 20 hour drive we went to grocery store, gone no more than 1 1/2 hours, when we got back we had 3 notes on our screen door that called us RUDE & INCONSIDERATE. Evidently our dog barked in our absence. His first day there - new place - he is a dog. Side note here, we had no barking issues the remainder of the trip but within 1.5 hours the trip in part was ruined by folks that do not even know us but were bold enough to judge us in negative terms. Funny here, guess it is just me but if I felt the need to inquire about a barking issue I might use the words please or just wanted to let you know, etc. maybe even giving it more than an hour or so before leaving nasty notes to folks I have never met. I guess I also wonder what the mentality is when a person felt the need to add the 2nd or a person had the need to add the 3rd note to further "pile" on when the issue and negative words were already in place. Also, nowhere in rental information or unit was there an indication on where we were to park. We parked in space marked 14 given we were in #114. This led to another nasty note telling us that all guests had to park by the pool, a distance away. Actually our spot was #31 not by pool. Hard to express how lacking in friendliness, helpfulness, this community is. We also were surprised that they sprayed the unit for pests when we were away with no notice given. All of our stuff was open to a stranger entering our unit, putting down chemicals (nice touch for a dog). Not sure how you would feel if you had jewelry and other valuables laying out thinking they were safe only to come home and find out they were not.
We are sorry that you experienced this problem with your dog. Pets however, are not allowed in this unit and you paid no pet fee which is required in any of our units which do allow pets. This was an unauthorized pet which you brought in without permission. Because of the layout of Sunbow Bay, the noise of the barking dog would naturally have disturbed the neighbors. This is why pets are not allowed there.

We enjoyed using this property, although the view from the lanai is the side of another building. It is very conveniently located, and the parking and access is good.
Bring your own sheets! The ones in the unit are horrid stretchy things and very pilled.
Be prepared to clean--the bathroom counters are black and show everything, and the grout leaves something to be desired.

The unit was very nice, it faced the back of another building however. I would stay there again, but the price of the rental is getting too expensive. I will try to find a unit that can be rented for less. With the economy the way it is, even those of us that save for a nice winter vacation out of the cold, have to be realistic. We love Sunbow and have stayed there many times, but even the owners there need to be perpared to drop their prices. People will be shopping for less expensive accommodations. I know we will. We are retired and on a fixed income and with the cost of everything going up, we must be look at the cost of food, as well as lodging when traveling. We traveled by car this year to save on airfare, cooked in more, instead of eating out, having all our breakfast and lunches in.
We are happy that you enjoyed your stay at Sunbow Bay. As you mentioned the costs of everything are increasing. The ownership costs are no exception. We have a variety of properties in all price ranges and will work very hard to find the best one for your budget. Thanks. Island Vacation Properties
