The Nookery, 1850's Holiday Cottage in Holmfirth

Welcome to The Nookery. We are one of, if not the most centrally located holiday cottages in Holmfirth. We are situated at the top of the stone steps above the square where Sid’s café is, which was made popular by the BBC program Last of the Summer Wine. Our little cottage is over 160 years old and is what is known in these parts as an under-dwelling or an upstairs downstairs house. These are a common and quirky feature in lots of villages throughout West Yorkshire.
