Hale O` Mahea Lani is located approximately 45 miles from the Kona airport and about the same distance from the Hilo airport. Waipio Valley is twenty minutes away and the quaint old sugar plantation town of Honokaa is eight minutes from your ohana. The property is rural with most of the homes having five or ten acres. There are moderate and difficult hiking trails to enjoy at Kalopa Park and down into the valley. You may make a reservation to go horseback riding along the rim, or into the valley too. The cowboy town of Waimea twenty minutes from Honokaa. Hale O`Mahea Lani is is a great location for exploring both sides of the island, Hilo side, or Kona side.
