Description

With historic Waikiki Beach just a half block from the hotel lobby, and 500 acre Kapiolani Park just across the street. The Birdcage is the perfect home base for your Hawaiian vacation.

The studio is breezy and bright, with clear views of the Koolau Mountains, and occasional island rainbows. All that Waikiki has to offer is a short walk away, whether it’s enjoying the blue Pacific Ocean, or all the shopping and dining options you can imagine. The Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, Royal Hawaiian Bandstand, tennis courts, soccer fields, archery ranges, weekend art shows and the city's Sunset on the Beach concerts and movies are all at your doorstep.

If you just want to stay put, there is an expansive sundeck on top of the hotel which provides a bird's eye view of Diamond Head while lounging and relaxing, or having an alfresco meal or drink. In the evenings, no one else in Waikiki has a better view of the sunset.

The Birdcage is at the end of Waikiki. Kapahulu Avenue provides easy access to the freeway, so when you decide to explore the rest of Oahu, you avoid all the traffic in the heart of Waikiki.

Please note this is a studio condo and not suitable for more than two people.

We also have another studio in the same building called the Red Ginger (2100411) located on the 9th floor.

Response from the owner I was really sorry to hear about the unfortunate mechanical problems that caused Paul to have to cancel his stay at the Bird Cage. We did our best to re-rent the dates to someone else, but it was a little too last minute. Traveling always has a lot of unforeseen glitches and while I can't undo them all - the offer to come back at a reduced rate is a small way of trying to smooth the way for the next adventure. Looking forward to welcoming you to the Islands another time!
