Superb!!

Left on Oct 12, 2011 for a stay in October 2011

Sixteen friends took this barn for the weekend and everything about it was superb. We had space to separate out to read or watch tv in comfort after our walks in the beautiful countryside,or to go and play table tennis, or relax in the hot tub. There were plentiful supplies of glasses for pre-dinner drinks, and masses of china and crockery . We could all sit around a large table on comfortable …

Exceeded our expectations, excellent find, very welcoming!

Left on Feb 26, 2012 for a stay in February 2012

The ground floor bedroom with an adjacent wet room was great for us and with two further bedrooms and a family bathroom on the first floor it offered excellent family accommodation. The kitchen had everything…

They had every reason to be proud as they had thought of everything to help guests feel comfortable.

The Horse riding and event arena have been changed into a sports hall and activity center.

The Horses have gone but the forest and walks are still there and some of the best views around. Some of which are listed as areas of outstanding natural beauty.

Activities for the kids outdoors and indoor swimming and health center. Plus vineyards and cider and brewers in the area

          Woodland hideaway

Left on Jul 04, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

A peaceful location hidden away in the woods on the top of a hill. The ideal place to get away from it all.

The rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with everything you need. We ate our meals outside each evening and enjoyed the birds and sounds of the woods.

Highly recommended if you want some quiet time. Perfectly located to explore the Forest of Dean.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely property, a real home away. Everything you need or want in respect of a comfortable self catering break. We intended to eat out at least once (great rated pub 2 doors away) but we were so comfortable cooking and staying in with real log fire we ended up staying in. It seems the owner thought of everything. We went on some great walks in Forest of Dean and Wye …
