Description
This beautiful cottage is 40m² and it also has a little outdoor storage. The house has two bedrooms and a sleeping loft that can accommodate 4-6 people. There are many extra duvets and mattresses in the house. Nice kitchen with all the standard equipment. Senseo and standard coffee machine. In the living room there is a 55" ULTRA 4K TV. External hard disc with hundreds of movies and TV-Shows, DVD player and a good selection of books and board games. Many TV channels are available + Netflix, Youtube and Viaplay. Internet access. On the patio there is a jacuzzi for 4-5 people and a grill that is situated under a roof so you can use the grill in any weather. Remember to clean the grill after use. Inside there is a Air Frier for easy and quick cooking with some pre-programmed dishes. Lots of recipes can also be found if you google "Air Frier recipes". Another refrigerator with a freezer is in the outdoor storage.
Close by you can visit Hraunfossar (Lava Waterfalls), Barnafossar, the caves Surtshellir and Víðgelmir and Húsafell. Víðgelmir is only a few km away and is Iceland's biggest cave and one of the biggest lava caves in the world.

Another great place to visit is Deildartunguhver, Europes most powerful hot spring. It is only about 15km from the cottage to the South West, close to Reykholt. There you can also find Krauma, a very special place to visit. See: https://www.krauma.is/en
Golf and shopping is in Borgarnes, Húsafell and Reykholtsdalur and you have swimming pools in Borgarnes, Húsafell and Kleppjárnreykir, Good berrie picking land in the fall and many beautiful walking trails nearby.
Bedlinen and towels are available for 1.500 kr per person per rent. If you need more thane one set you can of course rent more. There is a linen cabinet inside the cottage. Leave the dirty linen in the basket outside the cottage. The house is rented from 16:00 on arrival day, to 13:00 on departure day. Weekend rents are Friday at 4:00PM until Sunday at 1:00PM. Guests will receive a map showing the exact location of the cottage and a list of house rules before their stay. Guest are kindly reminded to clean the house in the end of their stay. If guests have bought "final cleaning" they shall nevertheless do the dishes and clean the grill. This is NOT included in the cleaning fee.
