Description

The Colorado Rocky Mountains are calling! Book a trip to Idaho Springs and stay at this cozy 2-bedroom/1-bathroom vacation home located at a 7,526-foot elevation. The home offers a deck to view some of Colorado’s mountains. It’s a gateway to some of the best skiing in the United States with many popular ski resorts nearby plus local rafting trips, which take you through historic gold mining areas.

Upon arrival, you’ll be amazed by the mountain/hill views from this property.

Wildlife viewing from the deck is a regular experience as deer and foxes pass through. Hike mountain trails, find a unique native Indian medicinal herbs and discover mining shafts as history come to life from the Colorado Gold Rush days.

Cozy up to the fireplace in the rustic living room, turn on the TV, or just enjoy a glass of wine or local beer. In the fully equipped kitchen, you can whip up a snack or a home-cooked meal. Many of the household antiques and decorative items represent local history.

Cozy Cabin is located in the historic area of Idaho Springs where the Colorado Gold Rush began over 150 years ago. The cabin offers mountain/hill views from the front porch and large deck in the back. The great location of the cabin allows you to take a quick walk to the historic district to enjoy a hearty meal at a local restaurant or a local beer at a microbrewery. Most of the local attractions and ski resorts are nearby.

The cabin has two private bedrooms furnished with a queen-size bed each. The living room has a twin-size pull-out. The kitchen is fully equipped. It is adjacent to the breakfast area. Full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. There are a high-efficiency washer and dryer in the cabin.

Enjoy beautiful mountain views and wildlife viewing (deer and foxes come very close to the deck). A BBQ grill and patio furniture are available on the deck.
