Additional Location Information

The Somerset levels are renowned for some of the finest bird-watching in the world. Using the ‘Parrett trail guide’ (from the Langport and river Parrett visitor centre) walk or cycle (cycles available to hire) the course of the river and explore Somerset’s flora and fauna. There are also many other wonderful walks and cycle routes in the area and we would be delighted to help with routes and maps.

Being close to the A30, A303 A358 and an easy drive to J25 M5, we are well placed to visit some of the region’s finest attractions including The Cheddar Gorge, West Somerset Railway, Willow and Wetlands Museum, Wells Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace, Glastonbury, Forde Abbey, Fleet Air Arm Museum, Stourhead, Haynes Motor Museum and Sherborne Abbey and Castle.
