“Most relaxing vacay ever! Gem on the Ocean.” Our family had such a wonderful time at Villa Talia Vashti. We were happy with the location (at first we thought it was too far away from everything) as it was quiet and we were able to get a true sense of Bali; not the Westernized side. The staff were friendly and they were there when we needed them, but did not hover. We felt pampered - every need & question was answered. Tom made a map of Snorkeling in front of the villa! My boys went out quite a bit and loved every minute! We dove Tulamben & Manta Bay - both fantastic dives! We ate breakfast in and dinner most of our time there at the Villa. Who could resist the amazing food and atmosphere only the Villa and staff could create. No grocery shopping, no cooking, no dishes or clean up - a Mom's dream! We did need a driver to get anywhere notable. There were many drivers (for approx $30 a day!!!) on hand. We took a couple day trips to Ubud, Kuta, Padang Bai, Water Palace, temples, ancient villages, and used the driver for lunch or dinner trips. Took us to see the monkeys, water rafting, etc. Highly recommend someone drive you as driving conditions are sketchy. We mostly used Wayan (a local there in Candi Dasa) - he is awesome! *Note: We are a family of 4 (boys 14y & 19y) - American Expats living in Sydney Au. So, by American and Aussie standards - a true gem! This was by far the best and most relaxing vacation we have ever taken. We will be back!

“Beautiful villa, can't fault our stay!” A group of 6 of us, 3 couples, stayed at Villa 888 1 for 10 nights earlier this month. A friend recommended this Villa as she knows the owner, Janmaree. We are so lucky to have had this recommendation as our stay was heavenly. Two guests arrived earlier than expected and had a slight issue with check-in, as I think there was a little confusion and they weren't expecting the group till later in the evening, but when the 2nd half of our party arrived, we all settled in beautifully, straight into the magnificent pool, Bintang in hand! Wayan and Wayan were fabulous, tending to our every need, and providing local information and excellent servicing of the villa. The villa is a short walk from eat street in Bali, so we had access to everything we needed, but the villa is set back off the main street so it is quiet and peaceful most of the time. There are some constructions going on next door which made it difficult to have a sleep in if one wanted to. I would recommend checking when booking as to whether or not the construction is still taking place before committing to the booking if you're the type that likes to laze around in bed and snooze the day away. All in all, a great holiday, can't wait to go back, and would recommend Villa 888 and Janmaree and her team to anyone who wants a wonderful Bali getaway.

“Peace on Earth” Words really don’t do such a fantastic place justice, but I will try connect you to what we have discovered. Please believe me when I say this is a must on your bucket list!!! Everything was absolutely perfect during our entire stay. Made and Kadek the staff at the Villa were very accommodating they were there to assist us with anything we needed. We spent 90% of our time in Rumah Kayu because we prefer the seclusion and everything we needed was already there. We loved "The beach" area, which is directly outside the front door, the kids loved exploring the rock pools in low tide and snorkelling in high tide . The villa was beautiful and very clean. The views from the decks are breathtaking, especially as you look onto the beach while sitting in the infinity pool. For the kids there is so much to do ball; games, drawing, soccer, cricket, badminton, baseball, banana boat rides and of course the awesome pool. I've been at Rumah kayu Villa now several times. With friends, family, In any case, this piece of Heaven on Earth has become a dear place to us. My sister describes it as one of her favorite places on earth that just makes her happy, we all feel the same about this oasis. There is so much to do! You can explore the island, the staff can charter a boat for you where you can go snorkelling, we’ve seen dolphins, manta rays, turtles and amazing sea life. I love it here so much that when i think "retreat", "relaxation", "recharging", "beauty", “exploration”, “family time” and “fun” I think of Rumah kayu Villa! Go to this well kept secret in Nusa Lembongan and i am sure you will keep it in your heart forever! .. I know it can be scary to book something online that you have never seen, but I promise-you will NOT be disappointed!!!

Villa Leana - Amazing Views and Child Friendly with Pool Fence

“Stunning view, spacious luxurious villa.” We stayed at villa Leana in Jan 2015 with a large group. The villa is awesome with stunning view from dining and living room making the stay very memorable. Each bedroom is massive, the bathroom is so spacious and the beds are so comfortable. The pool is a bit small for us as we had 11-12 people all swimming at the same time but we had fun regardless. There's no shallow part for kids unfortunately. But my kids all brought swimming floaties so it's fine. But the view from the pool made up for the size as it was absolutely stunning from up there. Relaxing on the lazy beach chair was great! The hosts are so friendly and they all speak English well. They welcomed us in the middle of the night and send us off at dawn with a smile. They were always very willing to do whatever we asked. The bedroom gets cleaned daily. There's fresh pool towel whenever we come home in the evening and we never got any complaint about the noise we made while swimming at midnight. Breakfast is typical Aussie breakfast but they're well prepared including toasts bacon eggs sausages fruits and cereals. We ordered fried rice for breakfast and A few of us had a small lunch at the villa consisting of satay rice gado2 and fried chicken and the food were delicious and only costs us a fraction of the shop's pricing. Distance from the main road is not too far as well. We stayed in the same area not long ago but it was further and more isolated. So for the view we get, the villa distance is fairly good. On the way to the villa there are plenty of nice street food (martabak, satay, etc) and restaurants worth visiting such as Fat Chow and the 'martabak' pop up shop outside Warung satay club. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend villa Leana.

“Fantastic stay in a tropical paradise” We stayed at Villa Elleo over the Easter long weekend and we could not have been happier with our choice. To begin with Ketut was extremely helpful in helping us arrange our stay with timely responses to emails and even helping us arrange dinner on our first night as our plan was arriving late. The villa looked exactly like the photos and was extremely comfortable. The house staff were by far what made it an enjoyable experience, they were so friendly and helpful, organising massages in the villa, preparing breakfasts and fresh coconuts. We also thoroughly enjoyed Nyoman card tricks. With the night security Made we always felt safe and he even helped arrange late night take out for us. The villa has a perfect location, tucked away so it's nice and quiet but only a few minutes walk from the main area of Seminyak, with plenty of markets, and restaurants to choose from. Overall everyone was extrely happy with our decision to stay at Villa Elleo, and we would not hesitate to both recommend or re-book the villa for our next stay. Thank you Ketut, Yanti, Nyoman, Made and Made for a wonderful stay in Seminyak.

“Perfect setting” We travelled to Candidasa in Jan 2013 for 8 days (2 adults & 3 kids 11,8 & 4). We stayed in Jogolo and the accommodation was exactly as pictured. It was very comfortable & clean. We all had an amazing stay mostly relaxing by the pool and are all very much looking forward to another stay. We were delighted by the hospitality offered by Iouri and the lovely staff. We have no hesitation recommending the accommodation as it was really lovely.

“A little piece of Paradise” Beautiful villa set in equally beautiful surroundings, the ideal place to just sit and watch the world go by. Spend six days here split between just sitting around chilling out and being a bit more adventurous seeing the local attractions. Made the housekeeper was a wonderful cook and person who it seemed nothing was too much for. Gede was also always on hand to offer suggestions on possible excursions and organise them for you with his drivers Kadek and Putou who were also excellent. Then on top of that there was the gardener and night time security guard just to make sure everything was perfect. What more could you want?

“Excellent stay in beautiful Bali” We stayed in Bali the week after celebrating Christmas in our current hometown Singapore. Bali was just beautiful and very relaxing. The home was in an excellent condition and the service outstanding. The staff made sure we had a very relaxing holiday without any worries or stress. The food was excellent…….better than in many restaurants. If you want to join a beautiful relaxing holiday without any hassle and lots of cultural experience, this is the place to go….

“truly a retreat” We arrived at night and were simply stunned in the morning when we awoke to the scenery around us. So much beautiful lush greenery and tastefully decorated open living spaces dotted by art sculptures to explore. I would recommend staying here to anyone happy to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Ubud and truly relax in a part of paradise. Tamarra and Paul were perfect hosts respecting their guests privacy but also happy to engage in interesting evening conversations. Their staff too were incredibly warm and hospitable. There are some wonderful walks to take surrounding the area and the locals are all extremely friendly.

“A Girls Away Trip” Overall we had a lovely stay at the villa. So close to eat street. The staff were lovely and non intrusive cooking us a yummy breakfast every morning. The pool area was very inviting and we enjoyed lounging the afternoons away in the pool and spa. We did have a hiccup with pickup from the airport which Ray has changed for the next person coming to the villa. We did have issues with the air conditioning on the very hot days thankfully were only a couple. Ray was onto any problem very quickly. We were a party of four ladies and the two big rooms were lovely to stay in but the two smaller ones are really only child friendly due to the twin bed and small room but they did have their own bathroom which worked nicely. I would go back again with another couple or my family.
