We arrived in Island Park just after dark. It was a nightmare trying to find our cabin in the dark. Upon entering Island Park Google Maps and our GPS could not locate the Rainbow Realty Rentals office so we passed the office and spent about an hour finding it. Luckily, the agent from Rainbow Realty answered her phone and helped us to find the office. If we would have just followed the directions in the email we could have found it easier. We then had to find our cabin in the dark. The instructions given to us were vague and unclear. It was annoying that certain distances were not indicated on the map. For example, how far off the main road we had to travel before we turn off to the cabin. Had this been provided it would have saved time. In addition, the street signs are very small and hard to see in the dark. It was very stressful finding the cabin. The realty agent helped us out via telephone and guided us in the right direction but it was a real pain. However, once we found the cabin things got a lot better and the trip ended very well. The cabin was amazing and exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, modern and very nice to stay in. Everything that they said would be provided was and they really go the extra mile to take care of guests. I was a little disappointed that we had a neighbor fairly close to our back porch and hot tub because the pictures shown of the cabin made it seem completely isolated and in the woods. But, it wasn't a huge deal. All in all it was an amazing stay once we found the cabin.

We enjoyed our stay at pine cone lodge. The cabin was nice and roomy. We enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck, and the location was scenic, it felt like you were in the wilderness. The cabin is about 70 minutes from the entrance to Yellowstone, which was a bit of a challenge. Also, the small markets around in Island Park do not offer much selection and are expensive. Make sure to bring all of your groceries with you, or be prepared to pay $5.00 for a gallon of milk. The freezer at the house did not work well, and the twin beds upstairs, and queens in two of the rooms were like "mini" sized versions. My sons that are 6 feet tall, were uncomfortable on the beds. We had fun and would stay there again.
“Beautiful cabin in the pines "made" our trip to Yellowstone!”

Seven grandchildren and six adults stayed 3 nights at the Pine Cone Lodge in July. We were so happy to drive up & see this beautiful cabin in the pines waiting for our arrival. The kitchen was wonderfully supplied with everything we needed for our stay. The grandkids were so happy about getting to sleep in a real cabin with a loft. There was plenty of bedding and towels etc. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat! Hope it will be next year. I loved walking outside and just smelling the wonderful pine fragrance all around us. The family couldn't thank us enough for renting this cabin for them. It was very reasonable, compared to what you'd have to pay to stay inside the park. We were able to grill our own chicken and burgers there after a long day of sightseeing. Kids loved the hot tub too. The cabin was very clean and well-kept. Thank you Rainbow Realty for helping us rent this cabin!

Very easy to work with, Showed up early and still let me get the key. Only complaints were that there was no internet or 3G, spotty phone service, and the roads weren't plowed wide enogh for a truck and trailer. I didn't go to be on the internet or phone so beyond that everything else was perfect. Snowmobiling was phenominal. Located perfect for snowmobiling (if your not renting).

Cabin was beautiful and spacious for our group. The theater room was great and we relaxed in the hot tub every night (very clean!). The floor plan was nice and much bigger than I anticipated. Rainbow Realty made the process very easy. The reason I did not give five stars was because of the comfort of the bed in the Master suite and the ice buildup (from previous guests) on the back deck that created a "death trap" getting in and out of the hot tub. I would definitely stay there again.

Finding the cabin was a little hard but, my oh my, was it worth it because it is tucked away on a little dirt road in a deep forest of lodge pole pines. The cabin was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. The only problem was the hot tub was out of clorine and wasn't clean enough to use. Also, internet/WiFi would have great.
