Salmon River Apartments are the perfect place from which to explore the beautiful Isle of Man. Situated in the heart of Laxey Village, surrounded by picturesque countryside and historic charm, this converted stables and hayloft offers the height of luxury with a character twist. The Name Laxey originates from the old Norse Language and means Salmon River and that is where you will find us, right next to the idyllic meandering river at the entrance of the Victorian Valley Gardens.
This secluded yet central location is just moments walk from Laxey Tram Station, village shops, pubs and eateries. A five-minute walk will take you to Laxey Beach and Harbour or even to The Great Laxey Wheel, which is the largest working waterwheel in the world.
Open all year round, the Hayloft is accessed by its own private staircase and has three double or twin bedrooms and a spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area with beautiful exposed oak beams. Benefiting from a balcony that overlooks the river and has stunning views along the valley and beyond, there are few places more perfect to sit and watch the sun go down.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Claire (the owner) a message.

If Claire (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
