Description

Half of Three is the perfect 'escape' for 2 people. Situated at the foot of the spectacular Trotternish Ridge in a crofting community on the Isle of Skye. Just 15 minutes from Portree it is well placed for visiting the island and only 10 minutes from Uig from where the ferries sail to the Outer Isles. Glenhinnisdal is a beautiful, peaceful Glen with the lovely Hinnisdal River running through it and fishing permits can be obtained locally. The Ridge is easily accessible from Half of Three offering great walking. There is an abundance of wild life and a pair of sea eagles are nesting in the forest at the head of the Glen. The cottage is well equipped and has panoramic views to the west and east. There is ample parking, access to a large garden and a private patio for the cottage use. There is free WiFi., and as well as a television there is a large selection of books, DVD's and games. Everything you could need on your holiday!

We had a lovely time here, Jeannie was lovely and very welcoming. It is well equipped for relaxing stay, clean warm very comfortable. Beautiful views all round well worth the trip.

“Beautiful quite location 20 minutes north of Portree”

We had a wonderful, quite stay at Half of Three. The home is in a beautiful location and centrally located for activities in the Tottermish peninsula. Highly recommended!

“Lovely homely cottage in the most beautiful setting”

Stayed for 4 nights in August 2021. Fantastic value for money. Lovely homely cottage in the north on the magical Isle of Skye. Cosy cottage with everything you need in stunning countryside. Comfy bed. Struggled to get up every morning. Great powerful shower. Jeannie, the owner, lives in the other half of the cottage and is on hand for any questions, but not intrusive in any way. Lovely lady, very friendly. Kitchen had all basics that we needed. Excellent place to stay for central and northern Skye. Highly recommend. Feel very refreshed after our stay. Thank you Jeannie.

How do damage deposits work?

If Jeannie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
