Let's Get Practical
From this location you can walk to the city center very easily in about 5 minutes. The buses 13 and 18 run by directly in front of the Hebrew Union College to areas further north of the city center and to the central bus station but you can really walk and see many things on the way. You can walk around the corner to Keren Hayesod St in front of the King Solomon hotel and get one of 8 or 10 buses to the city center or the central bus station. The old city is best reached through the Mamilla Mall to the Jaffa Gate or skirt the outer wall to the Zion Gate for the Tomb of David, The City of David and into the Armenian Quarter. All bank branches offer ATMs for cash withdrawals in shekels at the most current rates of exchange. There is an ATM to the left of the entrance to the HUC near the many car rental offices if you prefer to withdraw USD. The car rentals are great but check rates for non Israeli citizens before arriving. You can usually get a better deal on rentals by booking from the US branches, i.e., Hertz or Budget.Cabs are available all day and all night passing by on the streets. Point your index finger to the opposite side of the street to hail a cab in Israel. Decide on the rates before you enter or ask them to use the meter. Home Apartment Home Surrounding

Our stay here was way above expectation. it is a very unique property. Located across the road from Mamila and the old city. The apartment is very spacious.
It can accommodate comfortably 6-7 guests. Each bedroom has a private balcony. There is a large garden all around the place which was great for the kids.
The rate is actually very attractive for Jerusalem for the number of guests. We were very satisfied Read more

Lovely apartment to stay in. A few minutes walk from the Old City and therefore very convenient. Also very safe and secure within the grounds of a college. Very spacious accommodation - my kids loved running around the apartment freely. What a lovely place to stay in. The manager was very welcoming and friendly. Absolutely delightful.

We had a great stay in late July. The apartment is huge -- three master bedrooms each with a full bathroom, plus an office with daybed that is a very nice 4th bedroom especially for kids. Location is unbeatable, right next to King David Hotel, just above David's Village, less than 10 minutes to Jaffa Gate. It is on the campus of Hebrew Union College, so has a quite nice feel with many walks and gardens that are quite private in evenings. A perfect apartment for small kids -- it is upstairs from a kindergarten and our 2 year old and 4 year old loved having multiple playgrounds and plenty of toys to enjoy. Strongly recommend.
